Imagine this...
You go out with some group of friends, you're at the mall and you all sit down at the table outside of the coffee shop. As they look through the menu, you go and draw on your book. A waiter comes and takes some orders, you only ordered a regular coffee. It's such a peaceful and happy day but then you hear music behind you and all look at the direction where the music comes from... there were people dancing at a distance and people cheering.
You figured that someone was probably surprising their lover or something, so you turned around and continued drawing as you wait for your drink. As you draw, you can't help but be reminded of someone, someone you used to be with all the time, through good and bad. You were so happy and felt so loved that time. And as the drawing continues, you hear the people at the distance calling THAT person's name. You and your best friend freeze. 'So, that person is surprising their partner.' That was your thought.
You ignored the noise while your best friend looks at you worriedly. The song was so happy and exciting to hear but the very song that you hear in your mind is "Enchanted." As flashbacks starts again.
At very bridge of the song, one of your friends took your bookmark and asked questions about it. You answered shakingly but they didn't seem to noticed it.
By the time that it is almost near the "Please don't be inlove with someone else." The bookmark flew out and landed near the crowd. You stand up, ignoring your best friend as they said "wait, Y/N--"
And once you got your bookmark, you stand up and suddenly froze in your spot a bit. There that person was, hugging and smiling with their partner while you are reminded how they rarely shows their smile in public when with you.
The pain was back and you just looked down and went back to your friends. As your best friend was about to ask how you were, you hear the people chant "kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss."
Once the beat drops from enchanted, you stand up hearing the cheering goes louder, figuring out that THEY kissed. You shakingly smiled at your best friend and said you will go explore the second floor of the mall. You stand up, leaving your book, walked out and rushed up the escalator.
As you go to the balcony of the mall, you stand there as you try to stop yourself from crying. Moving your head up and trying to breath. Suddenly arms turned you around and your best friend was there along with the other friends. "Stop. Don't you dare try to conceal that pain! Cry! You are not in that environment anymore! You are in the outside world! So cry! Don't conceal it. Please." You look at your best friend as you break down and hugged them. The others comforts you by rubbing your shoulders.
You then realize... 'I really haven't moved on. I still can't find in my heart to get mad or move on from that person.'
As you all go down, you didn't notice THAT person was on the other escalator, looking at you in shock as you were busy talking with your friends.
Once your on the ground floor, you went back to the others that stayed behind to wait for the orders. You smiled bitterly as you know that in the back of your mind, you wanted that person to chase after you. To be there beside you. To look at you.

@@thebestnailcutter2076 It's actually my friend's story... she is the type to conceal her feelings and never show them which we all try to stop her from doing. She has been through a lot and her first heartbreak shouldn't be concealed as if nothing happened. That guy was the first guy that made her feel worthy and made her feel that she is someone that can be loved in a romantic way.
There were people in her life that made her feel insecure from a young age upto growing up so when that guy broke her heart, we all were angry but I actually understood her emotions well... She may not say it, but her eyes does 😅
