This should be the standard to any blaster review, thorough testing by someone who actually uses the blaster for games and a great coverage on after-market upgrades, something almost nobody has done in this space.
Glad you liked it, make sure you subscribe because that’s exactly what I aim to do with my reviews. Gameplay footage in 99% of my reviews as proof I really used it before speaking on it.
@@derkaiser9881 that is the Val-M and is one of my primary competition blasters for the past two years. I love that thing! Yes it takes reversed angled talons. I never ended up reviewing it but maybe a load out video is in order … ?🤔
@ Absolutely do it. I’d also be super down for the magazine video you hinted at. I’ve already been running regular talons but am heavily considering kodas.
I got 2 of the threaded barrels and cut one down so i didnt have to put off brand barrels. So now i got 2 different lengths. Also im not sure if they fixed it in later batches but the top picatinny rail can be put on backwards and one of the screws sticks out too far and can scratch/damage the plunger tube
Interesting! my original unicorn is from the preorder from when the blaster first came out so in theory it should have been glued... but the glue must not have been strong.
There are issues with it not firing unless the foregrip is fully forward, I think it's because of the aftermarket pusher. I moded my redcowl block with a spacer so it didn't bind. Where is that new priming block kit from?
@kingofgames234 , yes it did at first. It was only a few mm spacing I added to the design, then I cut off a coil or two on the spring to make up for it. It doesn't bind at all now, and I think it's smoother with those plastic bearings over the metal ones.
@@arenhansen625 yeah The only bummer there is if you decide to use something else down the road it might be difficult to source a new return spring. also you aasked about the new kit. that is designed by "kingdeedee" and he is working on an install guide currently

Honestly I don't get why pro blaster have sights so low they are only usble by people without cheek bones and thin heads or extremely wide eye placment... Like their is absolutely no way I can use my Trion stock sights with my extremely large autistic large man head with mid sized cheek bones and normal eye plaement. Like even my eotech knock off is mostly for show because it sits so low on the blaster... Like the only reason I can think of is looks and not having sight over bore issues. Which no having avable sights because looks for a pro blaster does not make anysense and Sight over bore isn't an issue with anything ever as you can just learn to adjust your fire or just get a good zero for your main targeting range... Which I can't see why sight over bore is such an issue in Nerfn when it isn't for anything else... Like it's extremely expensive to have a laser nerf blaster and even then it really isn't that much of a laser when compared to other things. So making the stock sights useless to the vast majority of people for a benefit that doesn't matter in Nerf or rerally anything... Is really odd.
The barrel can also be used without threads I just use the 24cm normal barrel smoothly. The bottom end may be worn by the bearing. The front spring needs to pay attention to the tail end being stuck outward. My original barrel was also scratched like this. Sorry, this is GOOGLE Translate so it's weird He's really cheap, I love it

Still has no internals 😎😂
9:11 which blaster is that? It uses reversed angled talons, yeah? Super neat look.

the dart gate used to be glued in, but any newer unicorn will be fine, they changed it due to backlash

@kingofgames234 maybe it suffered enough abuse from you play style and it came out

the spacer adds pre-compression to the return spring though doesn't it? in theory that would make the last 10% or so of the prime more difficult
