Yeah ... Auto Protechs rock. I have one with only 60% of the finish left on the handle because it's been in my pocket for over 10 years, jammed in with keys, phone, extra mag, and everything else. Has cut everything under the sun. The action locks up just as tight as the day I bought it. My EDC and will probably be in my pocket the day I keel over and die. A mini Karambit? ... I just can't imagine or understand such a thing. You do you.
Hey! Just picked up a pro tech Godson @ a show. The pro tech bug bit me & I pulled the trigger & bought the OD green Godfather you're reviewing. All black hardcto find. Really digging the od against black blade. Great vid Joe! 👍
YT quit putting your videos in front of me until just now. I follow 140some channels, so if they aren't popping up, they are going to fall through the cracks. 🤷
Good to know! it's been going on since we started the channel though. They love to limit exposure to knife content. Just make sure you hit the bell with all notifications selected and that helps us get back in the algos good graces. Thanks for the heads up! 🍻
I live in the midwest, where there are zero knife laws, with the exception of having to be 18 to own a fixed blade. I love that Godfather, but I just can't justify the price. Thanks to you, I will be purchasing the Boker. I've been looking for a karambit for edc, and this is it. Great video, much respect 🙏
@x - where are you? I am in Ohio (if you couldn't tell by my sn) and I can't say that I knew about the age limit on fixies.I am closer to three times eighteen than I am to being eighteen, but I do like to keep informed of changes in the law. I know Ohio is pretty much the wild west with almost anything goes here. The only things we can't carry are blackjacks and saps. We can even carry knuckle dusters here.
@@5MinuteKnives Beautiful state, outside of Denver. I was out there a couple of years ago for a show at red rocks. Spent a week and kicked around here and there.
as long as your in the states pretty much everybody can own it and carry it. iv lived in alot of states that dont allow people to carry autos, what i have found the officers dont care about the knife in your pocket. There isnt knife police out there going to take you to jail for having one either. Its not like that. Now im no cop or lawyer but i feel pretty safe to say most of us can carry it just fine. The only state i would watch for is New york and that would be in city limits, places like upstate you would be fine. or what you can do is not live in a slave state like that in the first place..lol great video brother.
I've had the Godfather in my shopping cart more times than I can count but never end up pulling the trigger, someday I'm bound to give in. My only gripe is that I wish they would have left just a wee little bit more meat on the tip for a little bit more strength.
I can say that it's one of those knives that just makes me happy to own. Not sure if that's a valid PoU, but I like it more and more as time goes on...
Well, seeing that you said "your country" that probably means your country won't even let you possess a pewpew. Heck, there's probably a law against thinking of owning one. You know what they say: never bring a knife to a powder actuated piercing tool quarrel.

I just love the simplicity of this thing. Its fantastic. EDIT: “hit a tater bone” messed me up 😂😂😂
What a knife. I have zero auto experience but this thing is sick 💪
The action is really sick too...

Big fan myself. 🙂

PROTECH GODFATHER very good knive
Very skexy!
Why not get a Godson? (3.15 inches )
They didn't have a Godson in this color combo. PLus I wanted it for tater diggin.
Protech’s usually don’t peak my interest most are just too utilitarian for my tastes . This one is sexy though . Tater digger for sure .
That's exactly how I felt about this one...
your gov. won't let you conceal a 4" blade ... oof!

Do you do much trading ?
On occasion...
