I can't even imagine how much pain and strain Azure must've been experiencing to contain the Jade Emperors power, especially when you realize that Azure is essentially trying to contain a universal amount of power AND making sure that said power doesn't tear apart the universe.
I love how slow his movements get when he grows into a titan, I know it’s not that slow but compared to how he moved before and how other characters move he’s definitely slower. It’s kinda a nice thing to see in a very fast moving show.
azure was. genuinely not a bad guy, he was a misunderstood character pawned for some sort of greater evil, much like the spider queen in season 2. season 5 is supposed to arrive in december of this year - whatever’s coming is gonna be even worse than season 4, which is kind of worrying.
but, he was, he's just not ULTRA evil. he's the kind of evil that seems reasonable and the kind that OOZES charisma. trust me, he was willing to hurt people to get his way, innocence included. not to mention he put the entire world at stake.
Azure really did end up being the hero, despite being tricked when it came down to destroying monkey king or saving the world he made the right choice.
would be wild if they reveal the presence of some outer god/eldritch entity from that dark beyond was the one who put Azure up to this, all in the hopes of escaping into reality
i did too, kinda wish he could be one of the redeemed villians like Demon bull king, Macaque, and Red son. But, at least he redeemed himself before he went out.
