I think the worst part is his ult which didn't translate well into smite 2 at all, you now not only get countered by AA's and jumps etc, but also by combat blink, phantom shell which you can get at lvl 1, the stealth helmet which also gives you phantom effect; and even if none of these happen, stampede or purification can easily save you or your mates Basically the same problem as odin
They need to change how is scaling work cuz right now if u build full int only the non stun 2 does dmg same as the regular 3, if u build strenght only the stun 2 and refire 3 does dmg, plus his cc is rather laking in this game
That’s what happens when you have Str/Int scaling. If you can’t all in on either Str or Int, then you lose value on stats because the characters is trying to compensate scaling for both Str and Int
Cabrakan's whole thing is to be aggressive and do damage, and it feels like any other tank/frontline in the game right now out damages him AND out sustains him. Tremors was one of the best clearing abilities so I am not really sure why I was hitting a minion wave for 9 damage a tick. He just does not do anything and it feels like he is substantially less tanky compared to other gods in the class
Preface: I didn't like Cab in Smite 1. I think his full damage style there is boring and his tank/bruised support style is underwhelming He feels better to me overall to physically play but he doesn't feel like he excels in what he did in smite 1, probably because of his scailings being all in. Id reduce the scaling of one but add the scaling of the other type if that makes any sense. So its like 55% int + 20% str instead of 75% int for example. That way you at least get some value on every part of the kit. I think that would pretty much fix a lot of his issues. Idk what to do with the passive other than a full revert but as I said at the start i didn't like hom before. One of my least played Smite 1 gods.
I also found him very lackluster, I tried even more builds, all in solo because that's where I play, and nothing felt "great". My most success was on a full protections build with Glad shield and Pridwin to try and burst squishies but even then you really don't feel that tanky once you all in in teamfights. I also tried a basic atk build, spoiler, its bad. The laning phase was atrocious but the late game felt half decent, his lockdown helps to secure those autos but you run into the same problems in teamfights. I tried hydrid dmg and tank builds with a conch rush to maximize the mixed scaling but of course that was a costly start and I just lacked pressure. I found that is best moment in a game was at around lvl 6 when you get your first item online, your burst feels great against the enemy solo but after that your impact takes a nose dive.
I was wondering why every cab I fought in arena just got slaughtered. I thought they didn't know how to play him but it seems that they just couldn't play him lol
try attack speed cabrakan and eye of the storm and the active that gives ranged attacks. he is also a tower diver and destroyer. the trick is if you can field control a assassin can clean up, treat him more like yrmir.

I think the meta doesn’t fit him right now , we ll have to wait for the aspect as well. He ll gets his chance to play like very other god when the meta changes or maybe when he can counter a good meta god
I mean most of the supports right now can easily kite him , you see shel on 2 or 3 gods , and you see a lot of defensive items as well on a lot of roles that limits his damage potential
I mean, come on... It's Cabrakan... He's literally JUST a hehe funny god. Who actually has every GENUINELY enjoyed his design? The only FUN aspect of his kit is just stunning and essentially deleting 1 person on a guardian. And that's not even fun for anyone else. Sure, you could say it's all opinion and personal preference. How many of the 5 people in all of smite that enjoys the kit so much they actually play full tank with him a LOT because they love his design are going to call me out? Smite is a fun game, with lots of characters. All of them are fun in their own way... But Cabrakan without going around one shotting people is just NOT fun. It's not a FUN kit. It never was, never WILL be. How many people who might disagree are going to be able to tell me you've played more than 10 games in a row on Cabrakan without building full damage? How could you ever possibly think that character is more fun than almost all the other guardians in the game in any role, solo, support, jungle, or memeing in other roles? Yes, the "I got close to you and 1 shot you" is funny... but there's lots of other gods that do that too. Who cares if he's underwhelming. They weren't going to rework him, they aren't going to rework him. He doesn't need that. He's just simply boring. And if people aren't going to play him because his full damage one shot potential might not be there... that's a good sign his kit is and always has been FUCKING BORING.

As someone who had 5 stars playing damage cabrakan, this game actually forced me to play my goat in his intended role 🥲

I thought it was just me because I couldn't figure out how to make him feel good in the jungle. Cabrakan was THE damage guardian. This is sad.
