Thank you 😇 This video was really helpful, wish I could share my progress with you. I'm just feeling myself now. I'm playing the chord on the neck region and it doesn't sound as good as yours, pls can you make a video on how to play the chords you used in this video, I tried getting it by looking at you but I couldn't get it. Thank you 😇
Weldon boss, I'm impressed with by your lesson because of the way you keep it simple, I'm encouraged to learn once again after I've suck for years, please your camera angle is hidding your fingers, you can help us improve it. Thanks
Thanks a lot ! I’m glad you enjoyed it. To encourage you - keep working .. the journey is not always smooth.. just spend time searching for the right materials and when you find them, workout regularly on them.. with time you’ll be fine.. And thanks for the observation about the camera angle. I noted it in previous videos and I’ve tried to work on them for other videos 😀
Thanks Shallom. I know you have a great understanding. Please can you do another video on the strum patterns for highlife music for beginners? I watched this and I watched another in this channel, but they all seem so brief in explaining key things like Time signature that highlife may come in, etc. Are we having a mixture of eighth and sixteenth notes here? I will like to learn from your channel. Please can you put up a Tab if you do another video on highlife? You will be shocked how much attention a detailed piece, will garner. Thanks Shallom.
I hear you and I appreciate the feedback! Sorry I got to see this now. I hope to work on a video like that, but it'll take some time considering I have a schedule and calendar i work with. but you'll definitely get updates when its up if your notifications are enabled. your suggestion will go a long way to improve my content and engagement and i appreciate you. wish you all the best!
Hmm. Shallom, im back. Thanks. I got this better. I will start out, on this. Your. ..." Haa'ba! " Etc made it more interesting. Please make more highlife videos for beginners.
@shalomakos make it "absolute highlife beginner" friendly please. I know how to play Raeggae, Rock, Blues etc to quite an extent. I want to jam in highlife. I'll appreciate if it comes with a Tab showing the Fret numbers to play, instead of the solfage. Thanks.
Awesome video Shalom! Thanks for doing what you do! I get question for you sir: How did you get to the point where you could call out the solfege as you're playing it? 7:05
@@kazayetzachariah209 hey bro! Thanks a lot for your feedback back. Well it’s pretty straightforward lol. All you have to do is each time you play the scales, call them out. For you to play the scale, it means it’s in your head right? So the idea is call the notes together with the sound they make.. E.g if I want to play do, my brain had already thought of that, all I have to do is to call the name out and make sure it sounds exactly like what I’m playing… then apply the same concept to other notes, other scales.. that’s all😀👌
Thank you 😇
