- Welcome to my 2009 Corvette C6 Z06. Yes, the frame is aluminum, but a couple other thoughts come to mind that may help with the feel you are experiencing. 1. The posi rear end may be too unforgiving. Try adding some friction modifier. 2. There may be some air in the steering hydraulics, so try bleeding the system.

Thumbs up for making the vid but no explanation as to why. Experiences guess is, take out the rubber in the front and def rear. Torque tube/ trans rubber for poly or delrin and it will fell a lot better. Also leaf springs out for coilovers. Then do a follow-up video.
c6 z06 is a magnesium frame similar to aluminum but not aluminum!!!
get it aligned and not necessarillary to factory recommended specs, experiment with the rear toe and i bet you will be pleasantly surprised.
a little background, ive been doing alignments for over 20 years (im actually typing this on my hunter wa130 hawk eye alignment computer) and my step dad owns a 09 z06 with a built engine, forged bottom end, trick flow heads, large cam and a whipple supercharger (still being dialed in on low boost)
also i may be wrong but im pretty sure the c6 z06 was eventually offered with a targa top and even a convertable too for some mysterious reason that ill never understand
DRM Re-valved shocks for the rear are supposed to do wonders for the C6 Zo6.
