You need to work smarter on your ink management. You use brushes where inks would be better and vice versa and also should Always look to open Sky Towers before runes of site as proven in this run where the rune of site revealed something within the Sky towers radius. You could open much more of the map, get more narratives, gems, health potions and gold all from better ink management so definitely one to think about.
