My husband and I have been together for 21 years and it was only during our 20th anniv, that he gave me an engagement ring. In front of our kids and i appreciated it more. His line was “spend the rest of our lives with me” Like you guys, we also wanted to keep everything to ourselves. I just love your story. ❤️❤️❤️

Me and my boyfriend can totally relate to this, we've been together since Highschool and this year we are going 9 yrs, he already proposed to me 4 yrs ago with a simple ring he bought in the mall. I would totally agree to mikael that you really don't need to give a thing, beacuse it's the commitment talaga to the person. Kasi para sa amin din ng boyfriend ko useless yung expensive gifts na binibigay mo sa person just to fill that pagkukulang and fault na ginagawa mo behind her back, like cheating. Lowkey lang din yung di kailangan bragging always sa socmed tapos cheater sa totoun buhay. Anyway, I am so in love with you two ♥ May Godbless you with beautiful kids in the future!
I really hope GMA Network would come up with a talk show or something in that concept for you guys. I think it would be great. Listening to your podcast is both entertaining and eye opening. Keep them podcasts coming!!

I really admired the story of your engagement. You thought me lessons regarding marriage. Especially about that breaking the tradition rules. Actually, traditional wedding isn't that matter to be extravagant for a couple but their commitment and love with each other that matters. Their marriage life that will last that matter. This couple is so unique for me. Following traditional way is sometimes choking it losses uniqueness of a person.
