- Zest Achilles is now Zeal Achilles A8 in Hasbro's QuadStrike series and it has CHANGED big time! Nerfs are to be expected, but, damn, this one hurts. Zest Achilles with its 48 different modes made it one of the best DB/BU releases ever and probably the most customizable balance type that we'll ever get. 48 different modes in total is insane! You should be happy now if you thought that Zest Achilles was too complicated because this Zeal Achilles has 4 modes 😂.

😳😳...yeah....Achilles has gone through a huge makeover for this QuadStrike release. Changes and nerfs are not a surprise at this point, but it doesn't mean it feels good to unbox one like this LOL. The Achilles name is loved by many and the BU release took this avatar to a whole new level...but Hasbro has other plans 😂. Watch through the unboxing and let us know what you think!

It’s not even the stripping of modes that gets me, it’s how overall ugly Zeal looks in comparison to Zest. It’s so barren and lacking in flair, but that’s been a major issue with Hasbro’s Burst iterations for a while.

Why would Hasbro keep the Zeal blade in pure left spin instead of pure right spin? I mean, Achilles is supposed to be pure right spin and even the real Zest Achilles by TT. Originally, why would TT decide to make Zest Achilles a dual spin bey?
If they wanted to cheapen out, they could've at least made a seperate right spin release that was achilles. Maybe call it Zenith Achilles A8.

No they won't. Those lazy bums never re-release a different version of the same bey in different modes. Master Devolos, World Spryzen and infinite Achilles are examples of this.

From 48-4? This is ridiculous, I pretty much can say a Beywarriors toy is better than this. My biggest issue about this that they didn't include illegal because that would have been my chance to compare it to Qq from Muramasa since they look similar to Tampered and Illegal in design. Honestly if one of the returning bladers are gonna appear in the show(Which I hope not) I recommend giving them what they have in Superking/Surge.
I think they did a smart move, keeping it left because their infinite achilles SUCKED! At least in left spin, it won't burst easily

🤢 Just no Hasbro no…It’ll be at least 8-10 months before we get it but Pro series is worthwhile (aside from QC). For fans that can’t afford TT, it’s worth the wait imo. Sucks but you can always save up for TT, instead of wasting money on this bulls***. Still pissed about what they did to Surge -Brave Valtryek. Can’t wait for Pro series Brave nonetheless lol.
honestly for the price i payed on a few pro series beys, i got some off of other places, shipping included, for only a smaller fraction more. And considering the quality difference? Not even a second thought. I recommend searching around because you might be really surprised. Especially when you factor in gas prices to go hunt down pro series releases, ordering takara tomy becomes really easy to justify over hasbro.
@@ryuudrako86 You’re right but that hasn’t always been the case. Shipping tends to burn pockets. For example a $40 set, will cost you $60 because of where the beys come from and shipping. So yes & no, it’s basically a gamble either way depending on where you live. Buying TT is not the problem, it’s all the other extra price tags added on. Aside from QC Pro series is not a bad alternative. Most Pro series releases, outperform the original counter parts. So yeah I’m siding with Pro if I can’t find reasonable prices for TT.

I would argue that if i can pay $20 for BU Hyperion with $5 shipping... I'd rather do that than pay $18 for a Superking release with less quality, and have to pay $6 in gas... If it's even at the first place i look. Sometimes stores don't have pro series stocked all the time.
Nevermind the canadian prices that's just insanity. For information, I live in NY, and the place I usually order from, beysandbricks, ships out of California. So I'm close to being about as far away as I possibly can US wise... And they even ship to Canada. I recommend taking a look at sites at the very least, you might be surprised.

@@ryuudrako86 We didn’t need Bullet & Variable’ is much more Preferable. That’s 1, the Vn.Quick’ combo is definitely more preferable as well. The original driver for Dragon had QC issues, that’s 2. Blitz is more useful than Zenith, jolt is more controllable that Evolution..That’s 3. Power driver wasn’t competitive at all, so st.Xtreme’ is definitely a better option with Sword. That’s 4. Revolve performs better than Low w/Heaven Pegasus. Let’s not pretend Low was ever more competitive than Revolve..Long story short, Quality control & launchers would be your only logical argument in this case. So yeah I get it lol ✌🏽
