Interesting that you mentioned forest fires are a normal system of nature. However, during the forest fire scene, if you don't climb the post to escape and continue running to the left of the screen, you'll find two humans torching the trees with flame throwers. Really really sad game. 10/10 though.

Got my copy on PS4 and I'm loving it so far! Can't wait to see others play the rest of it. Also, I gave names to all the foxes.
The mother is Vespyr, the deep red fox that got taken is Aspen(f), the brown fox is Moose(m), the Silver fox is Tundra(f), and the sandy fox is Dune(m).

I've completed this game and my only regret was that it was not longer. I will warn you this game can get a bit violent at time, so be careful, Seri!

Man, it's just one sad game after another I tell you! Speaking of sad things, I was in my drama class where we practiced soapbox speaking. I decided to give it a go and talked about how bad animal cruelty was - instead of talking for the 30 seconds we were told to talk for each speech, I ended up talking for a minute and even started crying as I discussed it... why I tell the internet any of this is because I want the world to know that I am an animal person and I love all animals and will protect them however I can. Thank you Seri for inspiring my love of animals, and I hope one day I can be a biologist where I can make an impact and help animals in need

What’s really tragic is that the mother doesn’t feed herself… which adds to the sort of “end of the world” effect.
For clarification, you could call the babies kits, pups, or cubs.
Also, fun fact! A male fox is called a Tod. You called your kidnapped baby "Male Fox"

This story...it already captivates me...I can't wait for part 2! I love your plahthrough so far and I love the animal facts at the end of your videos!
The scene where we are first introduced to the cubs and then it zooms out to show the raging forest fire is the definition of "beauty in the chaos" to me.
Also when the person took Todd away I started shouting "DESTROY THEIR ENTIRE BLOODLINE!!" to the point my sisters came over to see why I was talking about a baby fox being kidnapped. 😅

I think the box in the tree house was a distraction because you can wander at day but you have to deal with humans I think that’s to distract the human for some time

this game reminded me of Tree its a game where you play as a fox mother and your kids are gone and you unlock more and more memories of a human male you find your three kids (i can just find two and hopefully you find your third) and go through multiple worlds to find momories.(two as far as i know)

I think that Tod (the pup that looks suspiciously like my pfp character) was taken by the human for the pet trade. If they wanted the fox for the fur they would probably take an adult fox, as they have more.
