I love how Usagi took the hit for her dear friends when Nyanko first attacked. At this point she already lost the inner senshi so I’m sure she did the best she could to protect Luna and Artemis.

Did we watch the same series Crystal Usagi and her friends are as useful as a wet noodle until the plot calls for it. She has literal magic blasts and super speed yet instead gets electrocuted then tries to hit the blasts like its softball. Luna and Artemis could have at least tried to get away. The entire scene is awful.
because the anime didn't work like the manga, in the manga it's instants, their conversation happens during the fight and there are no pauses for attacks @@kstarnovagal6672

The sailor animamates didn't even interact in Cosmos. When she appears, Siren and Crow are already dead, so of course she could not backstab them
@@Dias_SD maybe they hated each other back in Galaxia's Palace. Aluminum Siren did insult Iron Mouse when she appeared.

Kind of screwed up that Galaxia recruited a teenage girl and killed her so coldly. In the artbook, I believe it mentions Iron Mouse is like Chibi Usa. So theres another young girl turned into a murderer.
Aluminum Siren, Lead Crow and Papillion seemed like adults in their 20s though.
True… I never thought about how young Tin Nyanko & Iron Mouse were so young…. Very interesting!!
These scenes made Tin Nyanko seem more relatable, and made us feel kinda bad for her. Nyanko is in pain and just wants to survive. She knows her only option was to submit to the one who took everything from her, in hopes that _maybe_ she'll be set free.
She seems more sympathetic than the other animamates who killed their planet Sailor Senshi out of jealousy. It seems Tin Nyanko only killed Sailor Mau to survive and gain Galaxia’s favor.
I personally love how they "humanized" her character. We definitely see the most of who SHE IS in this movie and manga. :)

@@SadakoDeciplemaybe she was cornered by Galaxia to do it. Either she kills Sailor Mau and become Galaxia's slave or she dies along with her planet. Ironic since she's cat themed but she's the one who's been hunted.

She still gets killed by Galaxia in the end. Sailor Tin Nyanko can't have a break lol. Galaxia in the 1st anime kills her/takes her bracelets for doing her job of finding the host of the sailor crystals and in Cosmos, she kills her for failing to bring Galaxia Sailor Crystals.
Well, to be fair with Galaxia in the 1st anime, Nyanko pretty much became useless to her after Sailor Moon purified half of her, causing the former's behavior to become unstable as she kept fighting with herself.
@CasablancaLillies-vx3jv In the manga and Crystal that is true... But in the 90s anime, Tin Nyanko, along with the other Sailor Animamates, was an actual Sailor Guardian corrupted by Sailor Galaxia. That makes her fate quite sad, since Galaxia destroyed her because she was rended useless after being half purified by Sailor Moon and entered in a conflictive debate about obeying Galaxia or upholding her duties as Sailor Galaxia (this last part is still about the 90s anime).

Well Naoko Takeuchi is still alive. People always return to things they love. Let's just hope we get a sequel or another movie (kinda like the original Sailor Moon movies). Years ago, I would have doubted such a prospect but I have more hope for such things.
Eh, maybe... But her track record with Sailor Moon (and other manga after it_ was kind of notoriously a nightmare for her and it REALLY PISSED HER OFF/turned her off from it all :( That's why there has hardly been a peep in all these years. I AM hoping for the side stories though!! I think as fans we need to all press Toei to make them happen!!!

I appreciate that all of the Animamates have actual powers and abilities they can use to fight the Sailor Guardians with and not just using Phages and letting them do the fighting for them.

So, I mean. What exactly happened to disable the three to not speak anymore? I mean. I know Tin Nyanko's attacks probably temporarily dulled their senses to talk and barely understand each other. Although, like you Commented, Nyanko had hurt their Crescent Moon Marks, too. So, maybe they were temporarily disabled, or? They were normally meowing until Galaxia/Chaos was defeated. Btw. Dudja know one of my FAVORITE voice actresses aside from Kotono Mitsuishi, Megumi Hayashobara voices Galaxia? Such a fitting role for her, too, ALL pf that red hair, no wonder, lol. Ahem, that's me fingerling, lol, sorry.
I thought it was very interesting how Tin Nyanko was able to resist Galaxia's bracelets. Her goal is actually to be free of Galaxia and reclaim her existence.
Liked it better when she and some of Galaxia's minions were Sailor Scouts who got corrupted
Nope. This is how the author wrote her. This is better since I like the idea that Sailor scouts are strong people that refused to submit to Galaxia. That is why she had the civilians from those planets betrayed and killed their own Guardians, then took their power. And Galaxia did have some actual Sailor Guardians as her minions. They are more important and stronger than these girls.

I dont think its ever explained fully but why did Luna and Artemis Leave their home Planet? I always thought they were Born on the Moon Since they have Crescent Moon Marks Plus They Were Advisers to OG Queen Serenity back in the Original Silver Millennium, Right? I DONT GET IT!

They were from the same planet, according to this scene translations Tin Nianko sees Luna and Artemis as traitors because they abandoned their native planet, even though it's never explained why. I imagine she never wanted to become Sailor Galaxia's minion but that was her only option or dying.

Nyanko was doomed to fail unlike 3 animamates before her. There was no more weaklings like inners to kill, and Galaxia already killed Outers.
Eternal Sailor Moon was too much even for Galaxia so there's no discussion here, and Starlights/Kakyuu were finished by two most powerful senshi out of Shadow Galactica after Galaxia herself. Her whole character was basically pointless
