'Riana' one of the songs that led to the group's 1986 best band award, was a typical Choc Stars chronicle of the vicissitudes of youth. Riana, a Kinshasan beauty, leaves her lover after a brief affair, too brief for the bewildered man, who cries' I haven't had enough of you yet/ why are you leaving me like this?' with songs like 'Riana,' an upbeat but mellow delivery, and a rarely matched lineup of talent, the Choc Stars rose to become every bit the equal of the clan's head, Zaïko Langa Langa itself.
