Amazing 5k views of the Atlanta Skyline: THIS IS ATLANTA
The most popular image of Atlanta is the Jackson St. Bridge view. Atlanta has an awesome tree canopy, however this makes it challenging to capture expansive views of the city. The Jackson Street Bridge view is easily accessible but it is only a very small portion of the Atlanta Skyline.
This video shows more expansive views with glimpse of UPTOWN (Buckhead, Brookwood, Peachtree Heights); PERIMETER CENTER (SandySprings, Dunwoody, Brookhaven); CUMBERLAND/VINNGS and UPPER WESTSIDE (Blandtown, Howell Station).
A 1250-1500ft Observation Tower (Similar to the Seattle's Space Needle, Toronto's CN Tower or Vegas' Stratosphere) placed in the tourist /convention center mecca of Centennial Park or in the new Centennial Yards Development would do extremely well. The adjacent GWCC is the 3rd largest convention Center in the US, therefore an observation Deck in a Supertall Hotel/Office Tower would also be a great option. The extremely popular Skyview Atlanta Ferris wheel (20 stories) is nice but a 1250-1500ft observation tower/deck would yield significantly elevated views.
