Those days before I left the Philippines, live music or live bands are found only in big cities like Manila, Caloocan, and Pasay city. Where most of the times close to midnight, when the spirit of the San Miguel beer overpower the senses of customers, a brawl is the next show. I’m glad I left the Philippines and had a job that some Americans envied so much after the TV series CSI became popular. It is so amazing now that these live bands invaded remote rural areas of the Philippines and their vocal performers exceed what is expected in a live concert delivered by popular and well-known singers.
