Starters: Jellyfish Fields, Harmonic Convergence, Irken Armada Invasion, Rooftop Rumble Counterpicks: CatDog's House, Sewer Slam (Singles Only), Western Air Temple (Doubles Only) I can maybe also see Technodrome Takedown being a doubles only counterpick, but I'm a bit more iffy on that one.
Catdogs House would actually be a super cool counterpick stage- its not obnoxious, but its a little silly as nasb maps should be. I vote yes for that one
Flying Dutchman: the left side is also just really close to the blast zone. Space madness: BANNED! Powered Toast Trouble: Totally a starter! Definitely not banned. :P Catdog's House: I'm not a big fan of those really high up platforms but I don't think counter pick is out of the question. Showdown at Teeter Totter Gulch: BANNED! The Dump: some of the formations basically create a ceiling. I have nothing to add for the rest of the stages.
They should make a few fixes on some of these to make them competitively viable, so we have more and newer options to play, rather than just the well known layouts from smash
It'd be great to see Danny's and Lucy's stages fixed and made legal. Otherwise I say the current stages are the only ones that promote the kind of gameplay worth building a meta for.
I'm not into the game too much but depending on how specific things like di or positioning work, danny phantoms stage could be legal. If you have to be in a specific position before getting hit by an up smash or an up air to get to the boulders and tech on them but at the same time this position makes you really vulnerable to other kill setups then the boulders just add more depth to the mixup game.
M2K would be perfect in an Ace Attorney game, lmao. Domo can be his cheeky assistant. If only Nick actually made it into another fighting game aside from UMvC3... Anyway, I'm fine with Catdog's as a counterpick. A stage doesn't have to be completely symmetrical to be legal. Usually Yoshi's Island is one of the banned stages, but sometimes if it isn't, it's an interesting counterpick too.
Catdog stage- Maybe not. It might be a bit bad for characters with bad jumps or bad air combat, and it has a bit of a Hyrule Castle vibe, but it's not a solid "no". I could see an argument for it being legal. Reptar stage- It could be good without the side platforms and tiny wall in the middle of the stage, but the teetering and sand might still be too much. That, and it's a bit too close to the bottom blast zone. If they had some kind of hazards off version of it that was tweaked, I could see that version being legal. Sewer stage- Looks good. Might mess with combos, but maybe not enough to ban. I'd take a "wait and see" approach and keep it legal until a good reason to ban it pops up. Graveyard stage- Yeah, the tombstones really mess with it. Ren and Stimpy stage- you know, if they turned off hazards...
The fact that he got the TMNT stages wrong actually pissed me off. Rooftop Rumble is April's stage, Sewer Slam is Leo's stage and Technodrome Takedown is Mikey's stage.
the slime moving you is similar to tree blowing you in melee lol
Yeah but I think the Melee stagelist is one of desperation. They had unpatched Pokemon Stadium for yeaaaars.
I agree, I'd love to see catdog's stage as a counter pick

11:12 Let's just observe this stage.
On a side note... Buff Icineroar!!!

The ceiling on the ghost zone can block recoverys that go up very high
HELL YEAH Glover. What a weird but fun game
I thought ESamus was scary, but I never expected PhoenixKing.

Godlike tier thumbnail nice
tbh i dont really see the sludge in the sewer stage as a big deal, its not like its any worse than whispy in dreamland
Loved Glover on N64, quirky game.
Air temple for doubles !
I think air temple should be for doubles
I played Big G, glover

Boy
I don't like the ledge
The game did not last, was fun for a few weeks.
Comment
Do competitive players not like any fun for the viewers whatsoever? Sounds about right. How boring.
This game is dead as hell
Always has been but these guys got paid so they must keep pushing 😂🤢
The game is so much worse than they hyped it up to be, still feel like i got scammed
You can still find opponents pretty quickly, you wanna talk about games dead on release look at Team Sonic Racing
@@theryag863 you're opinion, but I think it's fun, it's a nice alternative to Smash, but definitely not a replacement for it
@@theryag863 and paying for online that barely works is not scamming?
