- In the wake of allegations that the NDA government placed several Non-Money Bills as Money Bills in Lok Sabha to avoid scrutiny in Rajya Sabha, where it did not have enough numbers, CJI DY Chandrachud has agreed to consider a plea for the urgent formation of a seven-judge Constitution Bench to examine the issue. The Acts thus passed include the Aadhaar Act and amendments to the PMLA Act. But can the Supreme Court now strike down those decisions?

After all damages done now what SC will prevent?? Since 1950s The Union Govt & judiciary has love-in relationship, Union will pass bills, will getaway with thr illegal acts & later courts show helplessness. Recently many roads were widened, built flyovers over night by old cutting trees when matters were in court. Later courts showed helplessness as matter is already over & case closed! Such a shame to our constitution, does not have constitutional review before govt passes like in France.
