Обязательный венский вальс это шикарно. Тем более,что в 1985/86 г и следующем сезоне они танцевали венский вальс и польку. Это коронная тема у этого дуэта. Тем более в Окленде весной 1992 г уже никому ничего доказывать было не надо. Дубова научила их классическому ледовому танцу,а Тарасова огранила этот алмаз.
Their compulsories didn't look as strong that year relative to 1985-1990. It's to my understanding that they got into a conflict with Natalia Dubova over not only the direction they wanted to take their skating in stylistically but also because they were tired of practicing their compulsories so often. That could explain why they looked kind of stilted and self-conscious here in this dance. They looked better in the tango romantica though.
@@azbycx56i have this feeling with most of the Dubova's teams. They are so refined, precise, accurate, the lines are exquisite, yet they don't seam to have power and speed (as judged watching video recordings, since I never saw them live)
@@MsRumex This is pretty much true. Most of Dubova's teams were lovely to watch but during the compulsories, the patterns they made on the ice could sometimes be a little on the conservative side.

Klimova & Ponomarenko are one of my all time favorite dance teams. They are beyond amazing!
