- The Jubilee Year 2025 was officially inaugurated by Pope Francis on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024, with the solemn opening of the Holy Door at St. Peter's Basilica, marking the beginning of a year dedicated to renewal, mercy, and grace. In conjunction with this universal celebration, our Archdiocese will launch the Jubilee Year 2025 on December 29 with a special Mass presided over by our beloved Archbishop John Wong.
This Jubilee Year, under the theme 'Pilgrims of Hope,' calls us to walk together in faith, hope, and charity, reflecting our Archdiocesan vision to be a Christ-centered community, serving one another with love and compassion. Guided by our mission to evangelize, to be formed in the Word of God, and to build a spirit-filled community, this Jubilee is more than a celebration-it is a journey of renewal and transformation.
Through the programs and initiatives planned for this special year, we are invited to actively participate, deepening our faith and strengthening our unity. Let us seize this opportunity to grow as disciples of Christ, journeying together in hope and living out our call to bring God’s love and mercy to all.
