History and Miracles of Hazrat Tipu Mastan Auliya | Arcot | With His blessings Tipu Sultan was born

The famous town of Arcot, in Ranipet district (old Vellore district) in the State of Tamil Nadu, is popular for the reign of Nawab Saadatullah Khan. During his reign, he had built 360 holy shrines of Sufi Saints, 360 Mosques and 360 Traveler's Inn. Even today, after 300 years, his good governance and achievements are still remembered, revered and many of the mosques and Sufi Shrines are still existing and visited by people. Among these, is the holy shrine of Hazrath Khaja Shah Tipu Auliya Chisthi Rahmatullahi Alaihi, from whom thousands of people have been benefactors and blessed.
He is the contemporary of Hazrath Syed Shah Ali Muhammed Hussainy Qadri Shuttari Sibgathullahi Rahmatullahi Alaihi, whose blessed and sacred shrine is in Tajpura Shareef Arcot and adjacent to his Shrine is a beautiful Mosque and a Traveler's Inn and the shrine, Mosque and Traveler Inn are being well taken care of. Several thousand people visit Tajpura Shareef throughout the year to seek blessings and to attain benefits and this place is always over flowing with people and crowds.
Some of the Miracles of Hazrath Tipu Auliya Chisti
Miracle No. 1
Hazrath Khaja Shah Tipu Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi used to keep moving around during the nights and used to wear only a loincloth. On one such occasion, Hazrath Tipu Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi was moving around as usual at night, when some patrolling guards thought that he was a thief and caught Hazrath Tipu Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi and asked him "who are you"? Hazrath Tipu Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi did not answer and stood there in silence and then the patrol guards raised their hands, with the intention of harming but could not do so as their hands lost sensation and froze (got stuck) and they all turned blind.
The patrol guards got worried, started crying, screaming and fell on the feet of Hazrath Tipu Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi seeking forgiveness. Then Hazrath Tipu Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi felt sorry for them and quietly left and soon their vision was restored and their hands were normal again.
Miracle No. 2
During the reign of Nawab Saadatullah Khan, the city of Arcot had a population of approximately nine lakh people as recorded by historians. During that time the Chief Khazi of his kingdom was Hazrath Khaja Thil Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi, whose grave is in the compound of Nawab's Jumma Mosque. In the Khazi's court, there was a petition for case against one Fakhir.
The petition was that a Fakhir has arrived who sits under the branch of a Neem tree at a specified location and he does not offer prayers including Jumma Prayers (Friday Prayers). On hearing this petition, the Khazi issued a summon that he should attend the Jumma Prayers (Friday Prayers) tomorrow. The summon was served upon Hazrath Tipu Auliya Wall Allah Rahmatullahi Alaihi and he accepted the summon. The next day in Arcot; during Jumma Prayers, Hazrath Tipu Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi was present in the first row of every Mosque. On seeing him, every worshipper of every locality said that Hazrath Tipu Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi had come to our Mosque for Jumma Prayers. The Khazi also saw Hazrath Tipu Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi in the Mosque, where he had gone to offer Jumma Prayers. When people started discussing and debating about this, Khazi Hazrath Khaja Thil Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi came to Hazrath Tipu Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi and asked for forgiveness and said that "I was not aware of your real stature, you're constantly in the worship of Allah Subhana Wa Taala, who am I to order you to pray?, have made a mistake please forgive me. Hazrath Tipu Auliya Rahmatullahi Alaihi smiled and remained silent.
