And the reason for not showing us the targets anymore is ...........?
since when did they (ISSF camera crew) EVER showed us the target?? LOL! I say fire them if they want more thumbs up!
www.kruger-us-targets.com/index.php/10-meter-air-pistol-target-nra-b-40.html This is what they're shooting at. Click on the thumbnail and you'll get the actual size of the target. The center circle with a smaller circle in it, is the width of a pencil eraser. 🙀
Can somebody please help me understand the scoring?

The 10 ring, the circle in the center of the bullseye, is the width of a wooden pencil eraser.
Valeriy Babakov the best💪☝

TARGETS please . how difficult can it be ?
Take a standard #2 wood pencil. There's an eraser on the tip. Noticed the circumference of the eraser tip? THAT 10-RING is a tad smaller than that. These guys who made the finals all hit that 10 ring at least 96% of the time, with the missed shots only millimeters away from hitting it, 10 meters away, one handed (2 hands are NOT allowed).

The scoring is electronic and they are shooting at 1 target so you would just see 1 hole with s few eges
It‘s very boring without the targets
Yes I agree. They should fire the ISSF camera crew for this. Why bother televising if you aren't going to show the audience THE MAIN ATTRACTION (the actual target where the bullets ended up)?? A quick pan to the TV monitor that shows the target isn't like telling them to bend over backward.

Useless
@@willywonka4340 You like posting that link. What the target is is not the point. Most people watching this knows exactly what 10M air pistol targets look like, or a 10M rifle target for that matter. The point is that there is electronic scoring. Why did they not include the readout in this footage. You can only analyze shooting form so much before watching a competition gets boring.
@@elvay6847 yup totally agree. If I recall correctly the coverage of the past Olympic Shooting finals (2004, 2008, 2012, 2016 Olympics) has always had a split screen of the competitor and his/her electronic Target that shows where the last shot placement went and the shot value displayed. Why the non-olympic World Cups the ISSF crew do not follow this format is lost on me. It looks to me that the folks in charge of the Olympic Games video coverage aren't the same crew as the issf crew doing the World Cups.
Personally, I think ISSF crew are just too lazy to even bother with the split-screen thing...🤷♂️
