Would you be interested in doing a video on the family of Princess Ingeborg of Denmark? As you know, she married Prince Carl, Duke of Vastergotland and they produced three beautiful daughters - Margaretha (married to Prince Axel of Denmark), Martha (Crown Princess of Norway), and Astrid (Queen of the Belgians) plus, Prince Carl Bernadotte. They might be interesting to focus on if you have enough material. Thanks!
Some other Relations: Victor Emmanuel Prince of Naples and King Albert II of Belgium (First Cousins) King Constantine II of Greece and King Philip VI of Spain (Uncle - Nephew) Prince George Frederick of Prussia and King Charles III (Fourth Cousins Once Removed) Karl von Habsburg and Prince Lorenzo of Belgium, Archduke of Austria - Este (Second Cousins)
@4:25 talking of Albert of Monaco closest relative generations back and then stating "adopted daughter" NO - then Albert is not directly related to those other two royal houses Belgium & Luxembourg. Adoption does not count as DIRECT blood line. THIS needs explained more.
Read and hear carefully. Stephanie de Beauharnais was NAPOLEON's adopted daughter. Meaning, Albert of Monaco is NOT directly related to NAPOLEON. Albert of Monaco is still related to monarchs of Belgium and Luxembourg through Stephanie de Beauharnais and her husband Charles I, Grand duke of Baden. They are blood related.
One small point: you said "Her sister Emma married Willem II of the Netherlands", but that should be Willem III of the Netherlands (understandable with all those people related :-P)
Ok I recently found this out when i did my genealogy. I am 8th cousin 5 times removed to Victoria , as well as princess Diana. AND ironically Grace Kelly. And carry royal dna of The House of Grimaldi and direct line ancestor of niall of the nine hostages DNA. Still trying to figure out what happened 😂. Also related to 28 presidents, and mayflower grandchild. Phew! However maybe Grace does have some royal dna
I think it would be worth mentioning that frequently these people are double cousins. Many of Charles III's cousins are related to him in different degrees from both his mother and father's sides for example.
Yes, like Charles is descended from Christian IX both through Christian’s son George and his daughter Alexandra, it’s just that Charles has a slightly closer degree of kinship to Christian through George than Alix. Christian - George - Andrew - Philip - Charles versus Christian - Alix - George - George - Elizabeth - Charles
I think it’s been a really long time since all 10 crowned heads of Europe were gathered in one place. It would’ve happened at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral but Liechtenstein sent their heir rather than the reigning Prince. I need to double check but I think the last time all the crowned heads of Europe were together was at the funeral of King Baudoin of Belgium.
@@creature57 I don’t think monarchs bow to each other. Henri, Albert and Hans Adam might bow to the others as they are grand duke/princes compared to kings and queens, but the kings and queens don’t bow to each other.
All the other royals have to bow to Queen Margrethe as she is from the highest ranked royal house, because it is the oldest of them all, even Queen Elizabeth had to curtsey to her.
I can't even get my family tree completed past my grandparents on one side and you're completing the entire Royal Family. 😂 I so appreciate your research. It's astounding and so interesting. Thank you, Your Royal UA-cam Highness 👑
@Hamuel I imagine they do. Otherwise it would be impossible to keep track of everyone lol 😂! I'm already pretty damned lost by the end of the video. But it was still very informative nonetheless 😁👍!
Fun Fact! As of 8 September 2022, John William Friso is NO LONGER the most recent common ancestor of all European monarchs! As of the accession of Charles III, Friso’s place has now been usurped by Louis IX, Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt! I would love to see a future video on how all the monarchs descend from The Landgrave!
I love how in Queen Margrethe's birthday during the pandemic, every royal who send her a video wishing her a happy birthday called her Aunt Daisy, it was so sweet and the most blatant give away that they're almost like a normal big family at the end of the day...
The late Prince Philip must be laughing in his grave now that his son is King. When he married the then Princess Elizabeth, all those snotty British courtiers looked down their noses at him because he wasn't rich and they saw him as "foreign" even though he was actually far more royal than his wife (through both his parents, with descent from Queen Victoria, Christian IX and one of the Russian Czars).
I've always wondered whether my Swedish king (Carl XVI Gustaf) had to learn how he was related to everyone in this "family tree". I really want to study this a bit further.. *Thank you so much for this interesting video!*
I believe they were informed who their relations were starting at a young age. The King of Sweden, for example, is only 2 years older than the King of the United Kingdom. Both were acquainted at an early age and were playmates during their youth. Carl XVI Gustaf’s step-grandmother Louise was great aunt to Charles III, being the younger sister of Charles’ grandmother Princess Andrew (Alice) of Greece and Denmark.
Another correction not described here so far: Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Charles III of the UK is actually more closely related to each other than presented: they are 5th cousins from Paul I, Tsar of Russia!
We all know about the British crown jewels but we know nothing about the royal regalias of other countries so please please could you make a video about "the royal regalias around the world "......
17:53 CORRECTION: Charles III of the UK is _second_ cousin once removed to Harald V of Norway through Edward VII, not third cousin once removed. Charles III's adjusted score should be 36. 22:12 This correctly states Harald V of Norway's relationship to Charles III of the UK as second cousin once removed. The scoring system is slightly flawed since there's no accounting for monarchs that have more than one common ancestor.
@@tjs114 You mean how many paths can be traced from a current monarch or pretender to Queen Victoria? *Charles III of the UK:* 2 paths through Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip of Greece and Denmark (his parents are third cousins through Queen Victoria) *Harald V of Norway:* 1 path *Frederik X of Denmark:* 1 path *Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden:* 2 paths through Prince Gustaf Adolf of Sweden and Princess Sibylla of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (his parents are second cousins through Queen Victoria) *Felipe VI of Spain:* 3 paths through Juan Carlos I, Sophia, Frederica of Hanover, and Paul of the Hellenes (his maternal grandparents are first cousins once removed through Princess Victoria, Princess Royal of the UK) (Pretender) *Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece:* 2 paths through Princess Anne-Marie of Denmark and Constantine II of Greece (his parents are third cousins through Queen Victoria) (Pretender) *Alexander, Crown Prince of Yugoslavia:* 2 paths through Peter II of Yugoslavia and Princess Alexandra of Greece and Denmark (his parents are third cousins through Queen Victoria) (Pretender) *Margareta, Custodian of the Crown of Romania:* 2 paths through Carol II of Romania and Helen of Greece and Denmark (her paternal grandparents are second cousins through Queen Victoria)
I believe she did a video explaining how Charles & Diana are related, along with Diana's connection to Winston Churchill. Although when it comes to Charles & Camilla: they're not necessarily related {that I'm aware of anyway}, but his great-great-grandfather (Edward VII) & her great-great-grandmother (Alice Keppel) had an affair.
Since royals no longer marry other royals, those family trees would likely be very difficult to compare, especially royals who married foreigners like Carl Gustaf, Willem Alexander, Albert and Margrethe.
@@piratesswoop725 difficult, but not impossible. Carl XVI Gustaf has some German heritage, and his wife is from Germany. And while the connection might be *very* remote, UsefulCharts has posited a claim that anyone with European ancestry can claim ancestry from Charlemagne as well…so there’s that.
We can try for the UK, Denmark, Belgium and Liechtenstein. But no for the other royal families. The monarchs of Sweden, Norway, Spain, Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Monaco married commoner with no relation to royalty. The monarchs of the UK, Denmark, Liechtenstein and Belgium married people from nobility (meaning they are distantly related to royalty). Only the heir of Liechtenstein who is still married to royalty. We need to back to many generations to see their common ancestors. Sometimes, it is impossible because the commoner spouses have no records of their ancestry.
Kinda crazy how these people are running countries, or representing them internationally, basically because their 50x great grandparent was in charge of a prosperous cave or village when we were inventing clothes and basic tools. There's a book about it, called "Inequality", and explains how we know a lot about ancient ancestors through DNA.
I also like the way both Norway and Greece (and maybe other places I’m unaware of) have had Danish people as their monarchs. “Hey, you got a king we could have?” 😂
Paternally, the UK as well as Prince Philip was a Danish descendant of Greek royal family. Charles is a second cousin to King Constantine II of Greece (and his sister Queen Sofia of Spain) who was deposed of the throne in 1973.
@@EAlyahya had the late Duke of Edinburgh not “renounce” (still a topic of debate) his Greek and Danish princely titles, maybe Charles III would have had “Prince of Greece and Denmark” as his secondary titles (if British law allows) the way Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands is also a “Princess of Lippe-Biesterfeld” from her father Prince Bernhard.
@@AviationAddict69 ironically, the current pretender to the throne of Hanover (Prince Ernst August) and his descendants are still styled as Prince/Princess of Great Britain and Ireland in Germany
@@AviationAddict69 Unfortunately no. In 1953 the Danish Constitution was changed, only making descendants of King Christian the X of Denmark, Prince Phillip’s cousin, eligible for Danish titles and a place in the line of succession. The fact that the Greek royals still are Princes and Princesses of Denmark is honorary. The former King of Greece is also married to the Danish Queen’s sister, so they are just a little closer related than Prince Phillip.
@@EAlyahya The cheeky buggers.. They have no right whatsoever. the Prince/Princess title *only* applies to children and grandchildren of the Sovereign (and not even all the grandchildren) and does not, nor ever has been able to be passed down to further generations beyond that
Charles has multiple links to Harald V of Norway, Margrethe II of Denamak and Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, as their mothers of grandmother also descendats from Danish!

I have the Royal bloodline in my family tree. My great grandfather married the great great great granddaughter of Richard duke of York and Cecily Neville. So Edward the 4th is my uncle. 😊
Hey Lindsay! I love all your videos but I want to recommend a video about Queen Mary (of Teck) I know you've done a lot of videos including her life in it but I think it would be brilliant if youi went in depth and made her own video.
I thought she did a video on Queen Mary already. She was from a poor family that had to go live abroad in Italy to save money, I think, before she married well.
Ive been building some furniture the past few days and playing a lot of Lindsay’s videos. At night I play rain noises from UA-cam on the tv in my room and in the middle of the night I started dreaming I was hearing Lindsey’s voice and seeing her videos and I was very confused but in my sleep was like that normal I’ve literally watched hours of her videos the past 3 days. Then I started to realize that it wasn’t a dream and that the rain noise video had ended and I had slept through at least 4-5 videos of Lindsay’s and that’s why they were in my dreams.😂
Good day, I would like to bring to your attention an error regarding the French monarchy. It only ended in 1870/1871 following the defeat of France against Prussia and the future German Empire. Napoleon III was the last French monarch.
They don’t call Victoria and Christian the Grandmother and Grandfather of Europe for nothing! And Wowzer, that Princess Charlotte of Monaco looks SO much like Princess Caroline! Amazing. I did a double take.
I couldn't keep up! LOL I'm not sure how you managed this but all I can say is WOW to your skills Lindsay! Thank you for all the research you do for all your videos!
Great video! One problem though, you have Albert I of Belgium as son of Leopold II and Queen Marie, when he was actually the son of Prince Phillipe and Princess Marie. You wouldn't have to change much though because you gave Queen Marie the same parents as Princess Marie had in real life, so you would just have to replace Leopold II with Prince Philipe and replace Queen Marie with Princess Marie.
Small mistakes... Louis-Philippe was indeed the last king France had, but not the last monarch, since the president elected shortly after his fall in 1848, Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte, became emperor Napoleon III in 1852. Around 15:00, the tree shows Leopold II of Belgium as Albert I's father. They were uncle and nephew. Albert's father was Philip, count of Flanders, while his mother was Mary of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen... which connects the Belgian branch to the whole Baden branch (and not to the Habsburg-Lorraine branch, which was Leopold II wife's, Maria-Henrietta.)
Great video, I swear I’ve learned so much from this channel. I would love to see a video on the oldest monarchs to ascend the throne, since you have one on the youngest. Also the mistresses of Louis XIV!
Thank you, I absolutely love your channel! Related to this video, I have a question that I’ve been thinking about in the last few weeks: what would happen in the unlikely scenario of 2 future king and queen falling madly in love and deciding to marry? For example: prince George of Great Britain and princess Leonor of Spain; I don’t see the people and the establishment of either Spain or UK accepting their monarchies united under the same head, so I wonder which possible solutions would be considered in such an extraordinary event… thanks!
In those days, it would be either like Queen Mary I of England and King Philip II of Spain, they reigned their own kingdoms separately or like co-monarchs Queen Mary II of England and King William III of Orange. But not sure about what will be now, if they have heir together who reign both, the UK and Spain will be in personal union like UK and Hanover during Hanoverian kings; both parliaments don’t interfere each other.
I hope you go more into detail about how you did the research for this video... ☺️I think this is the most complex and detailed video with all these family trees!
me being german, I am prone to a nice royal family. But which one to chose? I think a royal family is a much better representativ of its country then a president, for whom I can't even vote. And a family means continuity as they are always around and the same. One gets to know them from being a baby till late age. I lived many years in Sweden, saw Carl Gustaf and Sylvia getting married, having their children. And that family really mingles a lot with the people of the country. I remember 2004 and the tsunami in Asia, where Sweden was the country touched by the highest loss of almost 600 of its citizen dead. Carl Gustaf was sooo moved when he talked in the church to his people. He really cared. The problem with the british monarchy is, that they have too many skeletons in the closet. There was never a clear cut and a new start. Charles should have been wiser, by giving the crown directly to his son. A good opportunity lost.
Interesting, but please don't put it as facts on the genetically level. The relations are the official, though probably not on a genetic level. I like my Queen Daisy in Denmark, so it is not meant as crisism, but to underline realism. Any royals or families of nobility had one important task: provide an heir or loose it all. There were probably found various solutions if a couple experienced infertility. A fertile woman would find another secret donor or else she could expect to get replaced. Or her husband would even encourage this in order to keep his position. An infertile woman could use a pillow untill another child was born, maybe a child of her husband, maybe not related at all. No heir, no position, everything or nothing. The nowadays surprising revelations due to DNA testing tell us lots of new stories in many families. And the Royals are human beings too, who had a lot at stake through history.
The new blood in the line has producer some beautiful and smart members who are the bext generation of royals; Georgge and. Charlotte, Amerlia, Alexa, and Arian, Igrid, Estelle and Oscar, Christian, Isabella, Vicent and Josephine, Leanore and Sophia, even as part from a noble house, Elisabeth, Gabriel, Emanuelle and Eleanore will change their houses for the better. This next generation of royals will change the meaning of royal. In the future of Europe. All for the better for Europe. Same applies in Jordan, Bhutan and Japan. Tge rewriting of what royalty will mean.
You might want to check your chart with regards to the Brlgium royal family. You've got Leopold II & Queen Marie Henriette as the parents of Albert I of Belgium. That is incorrect. His parents were Phillipe, Count of Flanders & his wife Marie of Hohenzollern'l-Sigmaringen. Given you haven't tracked any backwards through her the charts should still be correct. Really hope this hasn't screwed up any of your calculations!@
Great video. I think a lot of the deposed royal families are even more closely related. Particularly the Habsburgs & Whittlesbachs. It would be impossible to know when to stop!
@@ivansaric4752 Yes, Duke Franz of Bavaria is the Jacobite pretender, but has no interest in pursuing the claim. Well, they were not marrying their brothers and sisters or fathers and mothers. Most people in the western world can marry their cousins and it isn't considered incest. And Margrethe, having most genetic, doesn't seem to have problems. Smoker, but still going strong in her 80's. Highly educated in archeology and political science.

Wait, Queen Elizabeth and King Harald were second cousins, so surely Charles and Harald are second cousins once removed through King Edward VII & Queen Alexandra, not 3rd cousins once removed? Crown Prince Haakon is his third cousin.
No, the European royal family are actually Persian. The entire European family is directly descended from King Xerxes I of Persia billions of times. 👑💍🇮🇷🇮🇶
The most recent common ancestor of all European monarchs currently still reigning has become Ludwig IX, Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt and his wife Karoline von Pfalz-Zweibrücken since the accession of His Majesty King Charles III whose mother Elizabeth II had been the only European reigning monarch not descended from Landgrave Ludwig IX and Landgravine Karoline, who was known as the Große Landgräfin
@@putalaweamala7191 Both of Prince Philip's parents were descendants of Ludwig IX, first of all the Battenbergs (anglicised Mountbatten, the family Prince Philip’s mother is from) is a morganatic branch of the Hesse-Darmstadt family (meaning they were results of marriage between two people of unequal rank and therefore do not have rights to succeed to the Hessian Grand Ducal titles). And Prince Andreas of Greece and Denmark, father of the Duke of Edinburgh, was a descendant of Ludwig IX through his daughter Friederike Luise who became Queen of Prussia by marriage to Friedrich Wilhelm II, their granddaughter Charlotte of Prussia married Tsar Nicholas I of Russia who had a granddaughter Grand Duchess Olga Konstantinovna of Russia who married Georgios I King of the Hellenes. Georgios I of Greece and Queen Olga were the parents of Prince Andreas
@@RaymondHng if by defunct monarchs you mean former monarchs who are still alive then the only two extra people would be Simeon II of the Bulgarians and Constantine II of the Hellenes and both of them are descendants of Landgrave Louis IX. If by defunct monarchs you mean heads of all formerly reigning families then not even John William Friso has that distinction. For example the Duke of Anhalt, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, the Schwarzburg principalities etc.
I have a question. Could anyone, base on all nations hereditary rights, claim rights to multiple or all thrones in Europe? in other words, can anyone, theoretically claim the right to all royal monarchies in Europe? Could there be one Monarch over all of Europe if all involved nations agreed?
@Hyponakte Most, if not all European monarchies are passed through bloodlines. If I remember correctly, (forgive any error as I have been up for about 48 hrs. My brain is on autopilot), the title of Holy Roman Emperor (HRE) was award to people & not necessarily inherited because of familial connection. It was often at the whims of the current Pope. Monarchies are about breeding and the HRE was about politics. I believe (again too tired to look it up atm) several monarchies were firmly in place before the HRE came about; and those still in existence in one form or another should have a stronger claim to more thrones by way of birth and marriage than the supposed HR Emperor. Again, without research, I suppose King Felipe VI could still have a valid claim based on heredity & possibly the strongest when combined with the theoretical position of HR Emperor if it still existed or were revived, which would make this conversation moot. I suppose I have a lot of research to do this week. Good thing I am in love with History.
This is excellent. Thank you for doing this. It looks like none of the royal families have any issues with inbreeding. A certain amount of line breeding is helpful, but obviously, too much is debilitating.
I appreciate that you recognise that because too many Westerners assume that a single marriage between cousins dooms their children. As someone from a country in which intermarriage was traditionally very common, I know that you have to have a combination of a genetic weakness plus a lot of constant intermarriage for trouble to ensue. As long as the gene pool is refreshed with non-related spouses, things will generally be OK. By the way, King Harald of Norway's parents were first cousins and his father's parents were first cousins too, so he's descended from Christian IX three different ways: twice through Frederik VIII and once through Alexandra (of the UK).
Wow 😲 .. i just find out family tree of my mother grandparents, couple days ago. I still continue to looking for it and also from my father side ... Wish me luck 😊🙏
I have an idea for a future video series: The Doges' of Venice. You've covered the Holy Roman Empire, so maybe the Doge of Venice would be nice, especially given Venice's grand history.
Not exactly. Her first born son has 4 children. She basically removed titles from family members who wouldn’t be doing royal duties anyway. Having a bunch of non working royals running around with titles contributing nothing is more damaging to the monarchy
Exactly. Last I heard there were thousands of princes and princesses in Saudi Arabia because they keep letting everybody use this title instead of cutting off the titles the further they get from the throne. This is also why they marry a lot of other royals within the family.
@@choralfanatic96 Margrethe explained, that she wanted to make life for those children more easy and also she wanted to do it, before "she leaves", so as not to burden Frederik with this task. And she wanted to make the royal family smaller. Of course it strains the relationship of the 2 brothers, so I read.
14:56 Correction: King Louis Philippe was not the last monarch of France after he got deposed in 1848 he was the last Bourbon king of France. Emperor Napoleon III was the last monarch of France as a result of having lost and getting captured during the Franco-Prussian War he got deposed and fled to exile in England in 1870.
So interesting! My great-grandmother was a Bavarian countess who gave up her title to wed (a rich lawyer ?)a commoner then emigrated to the US. Wish I knew the exact story but I was told supposedly they wanted to leave Germany sensing what social unrest was to come. (?)
The Scandinavian royal families seem quite close. Also in connection with Queen Margrethe's recent jubilee there was a documentary about her life, where the Swedish and Norwegian kings and queens were featured. They referred to her as "cousin" and "dear cousin."
Sometimes they combine the greetings. When Prince Philip died, the official condolence from King Felipe of Spain to Queen Elizabeth began something like "Your Majesty, dear Aunt Lilibet". I thought it was really sweet 😀
Monarchs of other monarchies who are related to Elizabeth II are equally ranked, so they would kiss her on the cheek. Beatrix of the Netherlands had a specially warm relationship with Elizabeth II. They're BFFs.

Let’s sum it up, all monarchs may hold a different nationality but all have German blood

I do have one question ❓
When you say, that some one was forced to marry, How do you know that???
Dear History Tea Time /w Lindsay Holiday, MAKE A VID ON ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPTS!!!
I think it would be worth mentioning that frequently these people are double cousins. Many of Charles III's cousins are related to him in different degrees from both his mother and father's sides for example.
This video made me think so I did some figuring. Charles III is 5th cousin to himself. If I figure right.
double cousins means you and another person share all 4 of the same grandparents (I actually have one lol)
Yes, like Charles is descended from Christian IX both through Christian’s son George and his daughter Alexandra, it’s just that Charles has a slightly closer degree of kinship to Christian through George than Alix.

Christian - Alix - George - George - Elizabeth - Charles

Imagine having a huge family meet up as a royal they would all be wearing a huge crown 😂
I like to see footage of them meeting up to see who bows/curtsies to whom. Interesting custom to bow to other humans.

Hahaha

The "double cousin" thing should be considered in the scoring.
That's right, I was looking for someone to point that out.
I think the scoring system is based on the nearest link or the nearest correlation.
I'd be curious to see a Victoria count for all of them. As in, how many times does Queen Victoria appear in their family tree.
@@tjs114 You mean how many paths can be traced from a current monarch or pretender to Queen Victoria?

Could you do how the current monarchs are related to their spouses? If they are… it would be interesting to see how far up the tree the relation goes…
Look into her Hapsburg videos. I don't know if she's done a British version
Kinda enchanting and scary at the very same time when you have cousins and relatives in every country in Europe.
It's more enchanting for me. And luckily the monarchs are all good allies which make this more crucial.
This takes “I love my family” to a whole other level

A qualified guess is that several royals actually had an other biological father than history claims.. Wasn't very unusual.
or you could just add in Prince Phillippe

I applaud you for trying to pronounce our german names and places. Your tongue must be a gordian knot by now :D

I think
a royal family is a much better representativ of its country then a president, for whom
I can't even vote. And a family means continuity as they are always around and
the same. One gets to know them from being a baby till late age. I lived many years
in Sweden, saw Carl Gustaf and Sylvia getting married, having their children. And
that family really mingles a lot with the people of the country. I remember 2004 and
the tsunami in Asia, where Sweden was the country touched by the highest loss of
almost 600 of its citizen dead. Carl Gustaf was sooo moved when he talked in the church
to his people. He really cared.
The problem with the british monarchy is, that they have too many skeletons in the closet.
There was never a clear cut and a new start. Charles should have been wiser, by giving
the crown directly to his son. A good opportunity lost.
Hey in the belgium line is Albert II the son of Filip not Leopold II Filip is the brother of Leopold II
Amazing research so glad they no longer intermarry as a retired nurse I have seen genetic problems due to cousins having children.

I have a question. Could anyone, base on all nations hereditary rights, claim rights to multiple or all thrones in Europe? in other words, can anyone, theoretically claim the right to all royal monarchies in Europe? Could there be one Monarch over all of Europe if all involved nations agreed?
No, because then it'll mean that they are united
Whew! What a way to rattle off cousins and their 'removes". Good job!
I had quite a chuckle, finding out that thanks to his parents being cousins Charles is more inbred than his own parents 😂😂 16:46
You have wall to wall carpeting... classic American house LOL
Austria and Germany married into so many royal families.
I have an idea for a future video series: The Doges' of Venice. You've covered the Holy Roman Empire, so maybe the Doge of Venice would be nice, especially given Venice's grand history.
Have you done a chart of the ethnicities of all these relations? German certainly appears to be the predominant bloodline.
Queen Margrethe II commissioned to remove the titles of her grandchildren from her second son. I don’t know but that weakens the monarchy-
Not exactly.
@@CallieMasters5000 I believe that happened in Russia as well.
@@choralfanatic96 Margrethe explained, that she wanted to make life for those children more easy and
also she wanted to do it, before "she leaves", so as not to burden Frederik with this task.
There are loads of them everywhere. I found out that my kids' babysitter had 6 first names...
You ever think any of these royals greet each other by saying “Hi cousin”? Or do they just treat them like an any foreign royal and not like family?
