@@brentkelsay3439 I miss those midnight concerts. I got introduced to TW this year so I personally haven’t seen any of her midnight concerts live but I watched the videos after and they are AMAZING. I would love Dany to bring those midnight concerts back again. I guess they have a busy schedule now. May be during Xmas break. I’m keeping my fingers crossed 😊
@@Metal4Life666 yes they were awesome! Love their hard rocking songs but the softer ones were a nice change of pace with Dany's beautiful voice. Yeah some Christmas midnight concerts would be great.
Finally an interviewer who treats them (well, Dany in this case) as adults, asks serious questions, and engages in back and forth conversation. Dany obviously relished this discussion!

I can relate to what Dany says about the song is never done. I'm a writer and that's how I feel with my novels. You finally have to just say, "It's enough." Love the questions this guy asked.

@@robertkrawitz8237 Music, too, has a "code freeze" moment where you just have to stop and let it be what it is, and "let it live". 😋
No artist is ever done, nothing is ever "perfect", and nothing is ever "finished". At some point, though, you have to stop and move on. I liked Dany's phrase of "give up on it" - it's kind of apt.

Well, you listen to Dany talk and she is so articulate that you think she must have grown up in the U.S. No, Dany and her sisters have lived their entire lives in Monterrey, Mexico. They learned how to speak English in school. They only come tp the states to tour and play. She is also the nicest person, as you can see in the interview.
It is amazing to me. They were born, raised and live in Monterrey, Mexico and their English, with its slang, idioms and depth of knowledge is fantastic. How did they learn that?
@@gmartinz01 they have been speaking English there entire lives , not to mention they grew up privileged , the father is a engineer and the mother is a dentist
@@hardknox1917 Lots of people grow up privileged and don't speak, write, read and think in two languages the way these three do. And I have heard both of their parents speak English, and it is understandably stilted. Their language skills are admirable.

Couldn’t agree more. Dany let’s Ale speak and allows her that space to open up. As an introvert you need that support to express yourself and Dany helps Ale with that 😊
@@Metal4Life666 I've been saying this for a long time- Ale comes out of her shell when she has just Dany to interact with. Pau is too intense. Dany is more relaxed .

Thank you for this interview and actually asking good questions and not asking the same old questions about how they began and being on Ellen and all that. These were great questions.
They're too gracious to take umbrage at the repetitive questions about how they got started, boyfriends, and all that, but it was obvious how that Dany genuinely appreciated serious, professional questions that required thought.

This was such a great interview by both the interviewer and Danny. Both so relaxed and real.
Unlike some interviews that have been done before, I felt the interviewer's regard for Daniela and the intelligent, rational answers she gave.
And this, despite the UA-cam translation which can be quite poor at times.

As a Mexican i hope that they delve deeper into their own Mexican musical heritage. I would love to hear how they interpret and cover some of the classic Mexican icons and songs from "latinamerica"
Unfortunately it IS true that they are somewhat disconnected from their Mexican culture when it comes the musical aspect. However, they are not the ones to be blamed for how their parents raised them when it comes to musical preferences.
Personally i applaud them for at least trying to sing and compose in spanish. What we as mexican society can and should work on is for our future generation of youth to break with the vicious cycle of malinchista tendencies in their own parenting.
I am still waiting for the day when Mexicans proudly and publicly reference their own people as idols and role models instead of outside impositions and influences being their principal and constant reference
As Mexicans we can sing in spanish english or whatever. That is not the issue. The issue is whether one is firmly grounded in ones own identity and culture and the normalization of assimilation and acculturation only contributes to the degradation and destruction of that
Breaking stereotypes or gaining a place in the mainstream and colonial system doesnt have to come at the expense of Mexican peoples essence, culture and identity
Nice interview and Dany was extremely lucid, intelligent and thoughtful with her replies. I nodded when she said a song goes through a birthing process, as that's precisely how I feel about writing something.

I hope Lava is really pushing for Error to get a Grammy for Best New Artist, Best Rock or Best Hard Rock. They deserve the Grammy a nom at the very least.
I could see them getting one in the Mexican Grammy's but the American Grammys are way to political for a Rock Band from Mexico , sad but i think its true
