When the white man went to Africa he had the Bible and we had land....he thought us to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened our eyes he had the land and we had the Bible. Keep your eyes open Black People.
til this day.
Thats is all land. they are not native Americans or native Europeans. They just like to mimic other people identify. its really creepy
JUST look at "WILDMEN and the Moors" = one of the few art they did not 'whitewashed' to pretend they are native Europeans.

Ok seriously she said doesnt understand why he is singing about Angola. Rastafari is something spiritual. If Angola is what he feels inspired to sing about, why not. As an African I appreciate it...Just Love. Nothing wrong. His Imperial Majesty...Blessed.

THANK YOU!! Jamaicans are decedents of Africa so he has the right to sing about any part of African, from Senegal to Egypt. He made a beautiful tune!!
And besides that he is an artist with freedom of selfexpression. And if Angola or any country in Africa is what inspires him, then this is what he has a right to sing about.
Tammy Goss He is not African though.

Angola is how the Brotha feels. That's what he wants to sing about. It's a feeling about connection to his black Brothas and sistas. People sing about all types of things...money, drugs, big fat asses, drinking and smoking all day and night at the club. A black man from Jamaica wants to make a connection to other black people from another part of the world and its like... What? "I don't get it." Just feel the song and leave it at that "Sistas" and "brothas." 😏

I'm a European man and I respect Africa. It's time all the people in the world unite to build a better planet. It doesn't matter if you're black, white, green or blue. The only important thing is that we are all human beings.

European elites stuck in a medieval mentality and using dark ages politics are unfortunately the biggest problem with the world. NATO and Euro Dollar imperialism is killing humanity. If u r serious about a better life for all on earth, you surely must be opposed to European elites, thier banks, politics, culture and imperialism.

i just found out how Don Omar(reggaeton artist) took a Kuduro(Angolan genre) beat for his "danza kuduro" song but didnt seem to pay any homage. and was very irritated so i had to come here. love how Reggae culture always speaks truth and shows respect for the roots of the culture
In that case, your anger should not be directed only at Don Omar, but at the entire Reggaeton genre, which is virtually a rip off of 1990s Jamaican Dancehall rhythms.
***** yes i know. this is just one particular case that goes even further than that
but can show you kuduro from angola because im angolan but i like to much reggae i really like it since long time
good track and good vibe thanx yah for the Angola meaning...bob Marley did a reference to Angolan's people at Album Babylone by bus 1977.
@Angolan Mertesacker though there may not be much of a direct connection to Jamaica there is very strong one to Brazil from which the dance/martial art Capoeira (hence a form of the dance being refered to as Angola) Angola was a major source of slaves to Brazil, which was, out of the several European colonies in the Americas, the largest single importer of slaves during the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Two-thirds of those slaves in Brazil originated from the Angola/Kongo region and it is more than likely that these people would have been sold alongside common garments and cattle to the Caribbean, especialy when you consider The Second Atlantic system who's main destinations of this phase were the Caribbean colonies and Brazil but that aside, I think it is important to remember how Rastafari began. The song is about the destruction of Africa by the Europeans, perhaps Angola was his choice considering the above for mentioned magnitude of slaves taken, the song says 'Call Angola' as though a prayer for its people. I'm only speculating here but perhaps that is his reasoning, so let us not be bound by artificial borders across the earth, let us listen to the music and remember one way or another we are all distant relatives and this is as human beings in all our heritage.
Leave the negative behind, peace.
This song is soooooo beautifull cant stop listening love it soooo much❤️💛💚
