Hi Ram, agreed ! From my personal experience the accuracy levels with this device when compared with lab results in a period of 3 months gap seems to be precise. Please NOTE this definitely depends on external conditions like temperature, humidity, battery life and wellness of testing strips. Curtain medications and your body condition at different times could also alter the results. So any claims made from people using different brands could lead a bit of uncertainty. The other best part of the device which I liked is, it has more features like saving 500 memory, 5 types of markers, computer connectivity and broad memory read functions which I felt is very user friendly. Overall looking at limitations and personal preferences of a home use glucometer it would be very tough to judge a particular brand “The Best”. I have another video which gives a brief comparison between 2 popular brands, hope this helps to catch-up some insight before making a choice - ua-cam.com/video/YvxVFZjSp-s/v-deo.html
Hi, sry... as of now I am equipped with only Accu Chek Active and Dr Morepen glucometer, not sure about Contour plus one. If you would like to have brief comparison between these popular brands then watch - ua-cam.com/video/YvxVFZjSp-s/v-deo.html Hope this helps to catch-up some insight before making a choice.
Hi Yogesh, Firstly on BEST part - The accuracy claims in any glucometer is more-or-less same in the range of 10% error. Device performance mainly depends on external conditions like temperature, humidity, battery life and wellness of testing strips. Curtain medications and your body condition at different times could also alter the results. Looking at limitations of a home use glucometers it would be very tough to judge a brand “The Best”. Secondly on BUY part comparing Accu Chek and Dr. Morepen as an example - Both biosensor and photometric technologies proven and accredited. The ease-of-use is same and both doesn’t need calibration nor coding. Accu Chek Active has more features like saving 500 memory, 5 types of markers, computer connectivity and broad memory read functions and tagged a bit higher on price. Comparatively Dr Morepen has less features with saving only 300 results, 3 marker types, limited memory read function and tagged lesser price. So, the intent of this video was to acquaint audience with essential features so you can make best use of this info. Hope this helps while you make a choice 😊
