This exactly the content I've been keeping an eye out for... im a seasoned djembe player, and for years i felt my way through the vibrations of the djembe and made tweaks towards my desired sound along playing with other decent enough percussionists I have been kinda picking up the pieces little by little as far as coming to an understanding of traditional West African djembe theory/music That said I'm also always sifting through UA-cam's content of traditional djembe playing for years and only found a handful of artists that I could actually take away something and apply it to my style. Thing is I absorb information alot faster by observing rather than someone trying to sound good and aim to get followers which is ok... so basically I'm saying thank you for this very crispy clean demonstration. 🫠 glad I finally found someone I can learn from that actually speaks my language 😅 I am going to keep watching your stuff
Funny thing is I understood the break from the first, but can't understand the first rhythm. Would you be kind to explain it to me? I think the rest flow quite easily out of that one. Thank you in advance and thank you for your exemplification of Kuku :)
Wonderful. I have so much to learn

He loses / changes time in parts, not sure if its deliberate..
This incorrect or at least very imprecise. I can add more.
