اخاف أسألك عن حالك يامظلوم
Fear to ask about your situation, o oppressed
وأخاف انصدع وأنفجع من الهموم
An arrow in my heart on arrow of sorrow
أشوفك محني الظهر
Seeing you with a bending back
لا تقول طاح القمر
As if the moon falls
أخاف أنظر لعينك دمعه تتنزل
Fear to look at your eyes tears will drop
وبيها اقرا سفرتنا على الهزل
On it will read our long journey on camels
وغاب الساقي وغيابك شلي اتحمل
Your absence how to bear
وأشوف ان العزيزه ساعه وتنذل
Within an hour the dear would be hurt
سنيني ماصفت بعدك
My years are not safe after him
وطاحن ورده عالورده
Fall a flower after another
علي وصا على زينب
Ali the guardian of zainab
وكفيلي ما وفى بوعده
