This is great, Marcel. Thanks!
Totally blown away how good this is got mine yesterday
Great video Marcel!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks Manuel. Feel free to share it. :-)
This was worth it for reason number 1 ! I own the sphere and never saw anyone suggest that you could even plugin just one cable !
And of course all the other reasons are incredible!
Love this mic!
Great job Marcel!
Wait! can I just connect a single cable to my Focusrite? How do I know which cable corresponds to the front capsule of the microphone?
@@axelmaldini4218 The 5-pin cable out of the mic splits into two XLR's, which are labeled 'Front' and 'Rear'
Superb mic
I'm always using the Sphere linear model. Yes, some simulated mics have a prefereable sound at first glance for one or another situation, but when I apply the according EQ curve to the linear model, I get the same kind of sound, but with a clearer and more textured high end.
Thanks for this video. Can you review Psi Audio A23-M speakers?. Best/Mathias
Need more demos
please
here and the vocal samples on your website, what audio interface did you use?
Can you use the mic models with only one capsule
can i use it with an spl crimson 3?
What are your thoughts on the antelope mic models?
Was considering the discrete 4 pro and a small condenser pair.
❤Love your video ,and song nothing short of fantastic ,Pet shop Boys
double the price of edge duo. how does it compare ?
No way you are serious in that music video bro😂😭😭😭
This works only with uad apollo?
No, they have regular VST/AU plugins also and you only need an audio interface with preamp that has digitally-controlled matchable input gain.
@@MarcelJamesMastering but these plugins doesnt have latency?
@@dcoverzsessions All plugins have latency of some kind. These add very little. Ultimately, it depends on your interface, computer, DAW... You can track in low latency mode if you use Logic, for example.
@@MarcelJamesMastering Yep i have apogee element 24
@@dcoverzsessions That will work for sure. In fact, you can download the plugin on their website for free along with some test files to get a hang of how it works before you take the plunge.
It's possible take any decent mic with a low noise floor and flat signal responce and achieve most of these emulations in post by using various plugins and EQ. But the main reason I wouldn't buy into this system is because the day your computer stops supporting it your Sphear is little more than a paperweight.
That is my concern...10 years from now.. what?
Right...a paperweight with two exceptional capsules in it that can be used WITHOUT the software. Guess you missed the entire first part of the video when he explained that he used the mic sans software and LOVED IT.
WAIT!!!
What do you MEAN recorded music?! Recorded music from a consumer speaker, recorded music from studio monitors, recorded yourself on-stage during a live performance?! Giving a vague description with an insultingly low volume of context considering that we are viewing this for professional audio usage is "disappointing" (at best).
What a awefull response, you would be the last person to work with ,🎉❤this mic is amazing ❤
@@kevinlentz7604 My comment had zero to do with the quality of the microphone, and everything was a criticism of the volume of information shared regarding the testing methodology details not being shared. But go ahead and "engage your feelings" if it make you happy. 🤫
@@sekritskworl-sekrit_studios I only see the best in people,I try to always be kind ,you sound very angry I got a lot out that ,I’m sorry you didn’t,too much hate in this world as it is
@@kevinlentz7604 I don't hate anyone, and I am not angry. I am objective.
Thus objectively, your verbiage infers that you are projecting ideological & emotional attributes upon a scenario erroneously.
