I think a lot of people don't realize that when you're comfortable with your partner and especially when they're your best friend you talk in different ways towards them and it just shows the amount of love and comfort you have with your partner because they are your home and your safety net. Some people live on social media and needs to go outside and touch some grass and stop focusing so much on other people lives. Take all the time in the world you need because if both of you are not healed then it makes no sense trying to work out the relationship. Take it from me I just got married on July 5th. It was the happiest day of my life but if I could go back I would have never had one. I wanted to elope but me and my fiancée both have big families and wanted to include the people that we loved. It was suppose to be a simple small wedding and it ended up being much bigger after all said and done to try and please our guests. Just keep it simple! It was such a stressful process and I wish I could go back and elope and just spend more money on an extended honeymoon. We did premarital and it’s a must! I can’t express how necessary it was, it grew us together so much and was amazing at opening up conversations and touching on topics that normally wouldn’t be discussed. Most importantly put God at the center of your relationship and what God brings together no man or thing can separate. He teaches you to love so unconditionally. I wish the absolute best for you both and your marriage and future.

Thank God you got through the tough time, but one thing you must keep in mind , is that there is no relationship without challenges or perfect .every relationship has there up's and down, and the devil is never happy to see a relationship working . I mean one of my friends just went to the courthouse and signed papers with her man, now husband. Granted they did this during Covid, but when I asked if she would want an actual wedding, she said probably not cause they are already technically married.
I say all this to say, do what you feel and think is right for you both as a couple, and now want to get married.

I think the podcast idea is great for where you guys are in life and your viewers will enjoy seeing all of the stuff that is relatable, plus it's good to normalize the times in life that are not all highlights and highs/ups because it's simply not realistic.
As long as there has not been anything done that you guys can't come back from, keep fighting the good fight and always focus on the bigger picture.
And marriage counseling is SUCH a great idea and very wise of yall. My advice would be to get a counselor that shares in your guys' same beliefs/faith because you would be doing a disservice to your marriage if you don't include the Creator of marriage in your union. Such a beautiful thing but that's just my input though, of course and I'm proud of you guys for being 100 about what's been going on, its not easy to be vulnerable in this way but it can be a positive thing, not just for others to relate to and grow with but more importantly for you guys as well. You learn a lot more about each other when you regularly sit down and dialogue, you'd be surprised how much so.
