What a way to start an unboxing to find most of the slip covers damaged such a shame but love Chucky Child’s play 2 is my favourite in the franchise love curse of Chucky cover art there was some great stuff awesome video man

Your complaints are extremely valid. Damaged slipcovers are a huge nuisance. They do realize these are collectors items right? These companies need to do better. On a positive note they’re gorgeous slipcovers.

Mine were damaged too and I paid for the biggest bundle. I contacted Scream Factory and they didn’t care then eventually they said you have to Destroy the Slips for us to send you new ones. They were very rude about it. They’re Customer Service is terrible!
Oh wow! Yeah, I e-mailed them on Wednesday and I haven't heard back from them yet. They are probably getting a lot of complaints & now just ignoring them. I know someone who reached out to them and they told them that they don't replace slip covers. These weren't cheap bundles, SF needs to do better!

Thank you, I'm glad you like the shirts. I get them from different shirt sites but I got this one from Gutter Garbs.
It's a real shame about those slip covers, but still a gorgeous set on the whole. I got the more standard set without the pins just because I couldn't really justify spending $50+ extra for them. It's my favorite slasher franchise, but I just don't care enough about pins to pay so much extra, haha. The 4K upgrade is nice. Not earth-shattering, but a decent step-up over the Blu-Rays.
That's the one thing that's really frustrating about Shout/Scream. They clearly put a _lot_ of effort into most of their releases in terms of doing remasters, creating exclusive bonus content, commissioning new artwork, making nice cases and posters, etc. And they may be overpriced, but it's usually worth it for hardcore fans. (And to their credit, they've always offered to replace the discs no questions asked if there are any major issues.)
*BUT...* they always seem to cheap out when it comes to packaging and shipping, so people get damaged stuff and it seems random who gets their order first. I remember last year, I ordered the set of the first three _Child's Play/Chucky_ films on 4K literally the _instant_ they made it available for pre-order. And I know another guy who ordered them like a week before they shipped. And he got his copies way before I got mine. I feel like with pre-orders, they should prioritize the people who ordered first and who paid extra for all the bells and whistles. I also had one of the _Happy Death Day_ posters arrive with a nice big rip when I bought the 4K's for those. (Granted, I don't have anywhere to hang the posters at the moment, but I'm hoping to buy frames and hang them up in the future, so it was annoying.)
I agree, SF has done some great work but I feel like it hasn't been as great lately. I think you definitely went the smart route in not getting the pins, that set was almost $100 more. Hopefully I'm done buying pins haha! They definitely should be sending out orders to people who ordered first and the most expensive bundles but it's so random. Since I'm a huge fan of the franchise and collect Chucky stuff then I believe it was worth it but it was overpriced for sure.

I felt those damaged slips in my soul, Cody. That’s why I’ve been hesitant about ordering from them. I want the variant slips, but I’ll be afraid that they’ll come damaged. 😡😡
So the variant slips come folded up so they should get damaged but I completely understand your concern. I was pretty upset when I saw my slips damaged.

It's an American release but 4K is region free
Dude… it IS a big deal! Those assholes charge a PREMIUM for what I think is a pretty lackluster package. I’m pretty over scream/shout at this point. If I can get a release from another boutique, even if I have to import, I do.
Yeah I have not been too happy with SF as of late. I was able to get it replaced but not through SF, it was through the company they use for the shipping that you have to pay extra for now at SF's check out.
