She never forces them to eat things they don't like. My mother always did the same thing. She would ask me to try new foods and if I didn't like it I didn't have to eat it. My mother always said that grown-ups didn't want to eat things they didn't like, so why would a child want to? It takes a lot of pressure off of a child when they know that they have a choice. Great job Alicia!!!!❤

Both of the girls have such imaginations! Ana is usually the one to get down to business when she has her food and Guin is good about eating her food but she's more talkative . They both are so good about trying new things and it's wonderful that if they want more of something, you tell them they can have it but they have to have a piece of whatever else is on their plate first. The shrimp.didn't last long both a huge fan of shrimp 🍤 yummy!! I think the 🍤 was the favorite!! They are so entertaining 😊😊❤makes my day I needed a smile today!
The girls look like cute little rocker chicks today in their trendy black tops. I'm amazed at how much food little Anastasia can put away. She has a very hardy appetite and is really enjoying her steak and shrimp. Guin the little comedian noticed the bear on Mom's shirt is wearing a hat, pants and shoes but no top so he's naked. Surf & Turf was such a nice meal. Love how Guinevere is learning to express herself in different voices. Such an Actress. She may be a Disney/Pixar character one day. Anastasia is learning how to prepare her food by watching Mom cut from the big cut to make small. Ana seems to be very mathematical. She may be an engineer. It is going to be very interesting what the girls will be in the future.
Hi, I made the same observation of Anna's little mind. She catches on quickly to things that are "mechanical". I always go back to Easter when Walt showed the girls how to use an automatic egg painter. She watched him and when he went to show Guin, Anna immediately started to turn the little handle that rotated the egg. She didn't have to be told twice. Just observed and copied. She's done that with other similar things. Guin has her own special "talents". Maybe one day be an actress or comedienne. She's so full of life.
Whatever they decide to do when they grow up, they will no doubt be very successful!!! But for now, I'm so happy to watch them be little, funny, smart, sweet, and just the most precious two year old girls you could ever hope for!!!🦋👣🦋👣

She also seemed interested in the construction of her kid-friendly chopsticks and learned how to untwist them after only being shown once by Alicia how to do it. Gwen is quick to find the humor in life, and she always finds a way to leave me smiling and laughing. Ana has perfected her side-eye! 💜💖👀

I loved watching the twins enjoy their delicious surf 'n turf dinner. Anastasia made it absolutely clear to me what she thinks of fava beans - LOL! I was laughing as I watched her roll a bean around in her tiny mouth before she decided to take a bite - adorbs! Guinevere didn't seem too fond of the beans either, but I loved how lovely her big, beautiful eyes looked when she brushed her hair aside. I guess we'll leave the fava bean eating to the "late, great Hannibal Lecter"! 🥰💜💖

I love that you tell them that if they don’t like it, they don’t have to eat it. There are some things I can’t eat over 50 years later because I was forced to eat everything I was given…some of which I learned I was allergic to.

My immediate thought when I heard Gwen say "naked" was maybe the girls like running around without their diapers. My little sister was like a mini Houdini escaping her diaper, especially during the hot summer months - LOL! She loved running naked throughout the house whenever she could especially after bathtime. 😊❣👍👍

My immediate thought when I heard Gwen say "naked" was maybe the girls like running around without their diapers. My little sister was like a mini Houdini escaping her diaper, especially during the hot summer months - LOL! She loved running naked throughout the house whenever she could especially after bathtime. 😊❣👍👍
