The T-RackS CS Precision Comp / Limiter is an iconic compressor based on the legendary design from a British manufacturer whose classic sound and gentle yet fat compression will impart a distinctive sonic character on mix bus or single tracks. Have had this all along and never bothered to see what it could do... hell, I've only recently begun taking "T-RackS" as serious (professional-grade) plugins... guess I found the name (and whole dinosaur image thingy) a bit droll for my tastes! 🤷🏾‍♂️
Nevertheless, the proof is in the sonic quality, not the name brand or gui... and IK media is bringing some damn good action to my ears! 💯
On first try on my "Pre Mstr" (1st 2-buss), I did notice a bit of character from the CS Precision Comp, but it was a bit grabby on my lows or increased my highs rather harshly.... will have to find a happy medium by tweaking about. Of course this has been planted within a mix/mastering chain that already has a vibe going. Digging the comp+limiter option, though. 💯
