Your experiences might not apply to 12th/13th gen intel cpus that come with an igpu, because those igpus DO have those encoders. Your experience might have been entirely different if you had used an amd gpu.. And amd APUs don't. 12th gen igpu + Nvidia/intel gpu would give you a better performance. As a lot of people have already mentioned, according to tech notice's reviews and stats, igpu does give a significant bump in performance when used in conjunction with the dGPU.

If any low capacity device includes in system even system has high level CPU or GPU those will not use high resource and getting to bottleneck that the scenario 📈
