Did you put a couple of coats of clear over the water slide decals? That will protect them from wear as the car ages. Looks to be a smooth-running car. Job well done.
Fair enough, as I wasnt trying to recreate any authentic colors I just wanted a different color than that of my competitors so that I could see my car on the track. Besides I am just learning to paint my cars, so that never occured to me
@@SpareRoomSlotCarsYea, I understand. It's just that when someone builds any kind of 250F model it's usually red to be historically accurate, even though not all real 250F's are red.
That's a beautiful car! Great Job! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Gene, when oiling the rear bushings, I would pull the axles and place the oil inside the nylon bushings.
Good tip! thanks
Good job! Nice looking and looks to be a competitor! 🏁
I think so too!, but I will let you know
Gene where in the US can we get these complete kits? Thanks🏁
Hi Lew, i am not sure where you can get these as it is given to club members when they join but I will find out and will let you know
Thanks!
Good job Gene. Hopefully you will be able to run the car soon in our Nostalgia F1 GP class in our GBRC 32 club race.
Thats the plan, hopefully I have builr a competative car
That's cool Gene!
Thanks Greg
Nice Gene. I picked up the Ferrari 158
They are fun cars to build

No I didnt, thanks for the advice. I will have to do that
@@SpareRoomSlotCars Gene, You have an extra #6. You might consider putting one near the front nose. All Good!
Hi Stez, I do, it is different, but I was thinking about adding it as well
Cool car but odd color choice. I don't think I've ever seen a 250F painted that shade of green. It looks like a Vanwall color.
