@1:54: I suspect that rust has nothing to do with the mineral content of your drinking water. That water is condensation from humidity; it has nothing to do with your tap water. My guess is that your coil frame is rusting.
Our ac, is in the attic also, its blowing out lots of rust, ac companies want to sell is a new unit, we cant afford it, can ours be cleaned also????,,,
Yes it can be cleaned as long as it’s not rusted all the way through. Just verify what is rusted. A lot of AC companies try to sell you new units when there is no reason.
For future reference, people like seeing the gross stuff. You pulleding out random nasty stuff and have that as your initial clip you'll get more views. Think about it this way there is a whole group on here that watches pimple videos and yard cleanings neither provide useful info unlike yours but people stay for the nasty/before and after

Thanks for the video. May I ask what the vinegar does? My pan is full of rust and it leaks out the drain and stains the siding.
Will you have to replace the pan?
Not if you remove the rust and keep it clean. But if you let it rust out then yes you will.

I could immediately tell that was a Goodman air handler.
