I remember watching this and being incredibly dissapointed. 1:55 "We got thermals" with that percussion music was so incredibly badass, i know the soundtrack is probably a on-loop placeholder track but it sounds better than the actual ost, gives that dramatic tactical feel to it

Yes, this demo looks like post apocalyptic. Thank God they remove these feature and stick with enemies having modern weapons and Ghosts with more advanced gadgets. It doesn't make sense when enemies is more technologically advanced than you. It makes you look like a common soldier and not elite force

Not sure if it’s 100% true but I remember reading something about this game being delayed a lot and changed so much because they were showing things that were way to similar to real life operations. So they had to cut things for security reasons. I remember it was really believable at the time since it was a Tom Clancy game. His stories are fictional but very viable real life situations. Can’t say the same about the games now who pretty much get by to just using the name. Future soldier was still a great underrated game campaign and multiplayer even though it was changed.
Remember this clearly, the first time a game producer properly catfished the players by showing this, and then releasing something completely different. Such a disappointment when it came out.

I love the way they just re-use things from previous Tom Clancy games, that way it just keeps the feel of the Tom Clancy universe :) (They did the same thing in HAWX 1 and 2, they used a "EC-660 Whirlwind" heavy transporter from Europe in one of the America bases, an "EC-22 Gadly" from Europe to transport previous Ghost Recon teams and an "XA-20 Razorback" as one of the controllable planes)

@TheFashizy Actually, the main way theyre developing Active Camoflage is to have a suit coated in little cameras and OLED screens. THe cameras on one side project what they see onto the OLED screens on the other side. Not exactly full invisibility, but it'd be pretty good fro planes and perhaps night time missions, or as in this case, just to get up close and personal for extraction or assassionation.
