So sweeet 👍💥👊💥🤝💨💨!! I can’t wait for the Nitro Truggy X to come out ! Zeeeeeaah!! Still may have to get me the Buggy as well ! Keep up the great 👍 videos bro this is great news and real work
stefan w why not ? I’m waiting for that ! Already got 3 Modified Nitro engines to use on it for next level nitro stuff. If you think I took the 4.0 to different levels? ua-cam.com/video/2JrPssK-sv8/v-deo.html I have other plans for the new X Truggy !! But if TLR doesn’t come out with it ? I will be forced to use a different company for first time with a Truggy platform? I have always had the 8ight platform since day one but if I have to switch ? I will switch! This can’t be true .
They are saying that they are working on everything 1/8 scale. Neither confirming or denying it. I would say that there will be a X truggy. They would have to in order to stay competitive.
SITH4MMER55 I hope there will be an X Truggy I’ll just have to wait! I will be the one to take that bitch to the next level in the Nitro world trust me ! I have lots of great plans ahead and hopefully I will continue with my favorite Truggy the 8ight T platform and hopefully I won’t have to use another? Horizon Hobbies are doing great 👍 things nowadays for us NITRO & Braaaaap Heads just look at the 2.0 LOSI 5T it’s wonderful even though this should have came out sooner for us. I am praying for a MTXL 2.0 with a 5T Drive Train instead of the DBXLs . I would be able to take it to the next level with less headaches. People want me to try out there Engines now and I have some pretty crazy ones now that will need a set up like the 5T drive train. Have a good day !
Hi Every One ...my son and my self built a TLR Eight x within 4.5 hours super easy to work on as the kit starts from suspension and diffs first , however we noted a couple of concern points in the rear hubs / CVA , which has a 2 mm gap between the two parts and the gap is also 9 mm deep , we think it will collect a lot of dust and dirt and cause damage to bearings and CVA , further we noted that option for running a clutch bell larger than 14 Teeth is quite a squeeze due to the new tank design , the tubing used for tank Drain line touch the Clutch bell if you run a larger bell. we have fixed both issues and the car runs as a TLR should , we have been die hard TLR users running the 2.0 Truggy and buggy to 3.0 Buggy and Truggy , and now to the X , happy that many changes are positive with just two issues we faced. overall great car handles well ....... Log on to our You Tube channel to see the fix for the rear hub ...Good luck
Love how you do the video about How we should buy upgrade parts for the tlr 8ight 4.0. Knowing you're coming out with a new buggy. So we buy the parts spend lots of money and not 5 to 6 weeks later tlr comes out with the new 8ight x.
please show how to remove all the electronic if you want to wash the car, remembering that the radio box is seperated and the throtle servo is in the center diff
Rear was basically straight into the diff with the ring and pinion offset in the rear diff to help move the motor more centered in the car. This made the front drive shaft angled quite a bit to get back to the middle of the front diff (required for all the steering stuff). The angle in the front shaft changed the 4wd overall feel of the car. 8X splits the angle between the front and rear equally so you get the same drive shaft angle front to rear for a better consistent 4wd feel.
DON'T GET THIS TWISTED GUYS, THIS THING IS BAD-ASS BUT, YOU STILL GOTTA BE A DAM GOOD DRIVER . DON'T EXPECT TO GET THIS THING AND START MIRACULOUSLY WINNING MOST RACES..... YOU CAN'T SIT IN THIS THING SO IT'S NOT LIKE YOU CAN "FEEL" THE DIFFERENCES .
They should’ve ran and tested the car and did all the configurations of set up all the different configurations of Camber adjustments tow in tow out anti-squad they should’ve did all these things before they made this video it’s just too much fucking talking

I wld love to see how are you running the wires for that tiny receiver box? Without using a Dremel to cut an opening.
360p?Are you trolling us?
Great videos keep it up! My only complain is why is the quality of the video so low? It should be at 1080p minimum!
Yall need to release the buggy & truggy at the same time,,,,whe will the truggy be available
So that you buy the buggy. And then the truggy comes out. Then you buy that 1 too. Business 101.
I want to see the Truggy im going to get the buggy too though
What front kick up angle are you using and what seems to work best?? I am using. Point 5 degrees in the front and 0 in the back!!
Great work guys! I'll buy the E-car!
Will there be a cab forward body for the 8ight X?
Why u got phend paint??
What's up? No more videos?
Nice 👍
hey gang im just coming into this but what was an why where the rear and front drivetrain angles and why were they an issue and are they adressed

Has it improved on rough tracks?
