I'll be praying for your grandma. Those peanuts looks good out the dirt. My favorite time of the year of getting e'm out of the ground and combining them. Otherwise thanks for the presentation and I'll be seeing more of you inverting them out of the ground and harvesting them. Be blessed!!!
For sure prayers for granny wish I still had mine. We have had the same problem with nuts falling off when digging. The weather been killing us (45min north of gville). No rain but no sun.
Fun times. I drove from Texas to help my brother to pick peanuts in Alabama. Enjoy watching you guys. Also where did you get the header bands for the picker?
Great video as always! I’ve been having some trouble with tomato spotted wilt virus on 06 gs the past couple years, do you have any recommendations for a good dry land peanut variety?
So you gotta run over the field 3 times? Pick them, turn them over, and then run the harvester over them? I hope your buyer pays a good price for the peanuts.
I don’t understand why he’s complaining about the pivot at the beginning. Obviously you have to move it to get what it’s in the way of. No disrespect and let me know if I’m misunderstanding what he’s saying.

Lillington Hi-Cap 6000 and 7500 were probably the best combines available back in the 70s through the mid 80s.

I never realized how slow of a process it is to pick peanuts
We used a Roanoke peanut picker to pick green peanuts and it was way slower than this but faster than doing it by hand
@@jasonkelly7930 I’m gonna show my ignorance but what in the wide world of peanuts is a green peanut
When you dig the out of the ground and pick them off the same day. They are used for boiled peanuts or for eating fresh peanuts.
Where u guys from
