Picked up one of these 2 weeks ago for $260. It is a fantastic bipod it's heavy but it's solid. I don't think it's worth MSRP but I don't think you can beat it for the sub $300 bracket.
I got a gen 2 accutac br4, $252 shipped. I love it. The warne looks nice but it does everything the accutac does. Even has the same style leg extension/release mech
Good review, I share your opinion. I'll continue with my psr. That said, the rebranded MDT bipod that also allows the user to change the width of the legs has my attention...
tried to buy one of these in the fall because Optics Planet had them listed for sale...turned out to be premature so I got an Atlas instead...if these become readily available maybe I will give it a try but already have a big investment in 2 Atlas's
Switches I would like to compare this to ckyepod. Unfortunately I have only seen one in person at Shotshow. Hopefully they’ll send me one for review this year.
Let me get this straight.... the warne is more expensive???? And is considered a close second to the atlas??? The guys over at warne might wanna rethink that one!
I don’t think its only job is to prop up a rifle. How does it connect? What about the stability triangle? How quickly can adjustments be made? Is it intuitive or will it take some learning to get efficient with? Can the legs be adjusted independently? Picatinny or arca swiss and why? Etc. etc.
dude if warne just drops price ppl would buy theirs. these damn things dont cost that much to make... cmon. sell MORE by dropping price under atlas... shit id buy more nice bipods if they wernt 300. whats better, some guy like me paying 200 - 250 X5 or over 300 once and just swapping from rifle to rifle? its a no brainer.
this bipod should be compared to the Accu Tac bipod not the Altlas bipods. the method for extending and retracting the legs is identical to the Accu Tac bipods. PS: it only had 3 positions for the legs not 4 as 4 positions is a patent by Atlas
Not a knock on the Atlas or Warne bipods but besides being able to angle the legs 45 forward or back i dont see a reason to not get a Harris for a third of the price.
The angled legs are the main reason I bought an Atlas. You’d be surprised at how much more support you have with the different angles on uneven terrain. The Atlas might be a little lighter in weight, too.
@@PrecisionRifleNetwork love me a nice 1911, for the polymer stuff, currently running an HK VP9. Just needed to hate on some stuff, this seemed like an easy target. Looks like I failed..
Can't wait for the $1000 Bipod.
Hahaha

Thanks for posting this! Just what I wanted to know!!! Great video!!!
you're welcome. thanks for watching.

Knights makes a Harris adapter that tilts and pans. It replaces the entire saddle mount making it even lighter.
I got excited thinking maybe it didn't have pan. Pan is the stupidest feature a bipod could have. By the time you need to pan, your npoa is compromised
True, unless you have 90 sec. to fire 10 shots at 5 targets at varying ranges like in a PRS comp. which is what this channel is aimed at.
It can be locked out
Darn. Just bought an Atlas. It's great, but this appears better, particularly for the cant and pan.
If you want to fully collapse the bipod instead of one at a time you can do this by holding down then pushing up and the legs will shoot right up.
Ouch 19oz a bit much for hunting but got dang the Warne looks slick 👌

Eric Austin available now at www.huntslongrange.com
@@PrecisionRifleNetwork will have to wait as I already dropped a lot of money on my two Atlas bipods...
My biggest gripe with the atlas is the tension knob
Nick wray agree
Lots of awesome features! I'll be picking one up this year to try out. Looks like a reallllly solid piece
awesome review - thanks! how would you compare this to the ckyepod?

Great review thanks
Loven my atlas this looks cool tho
There is a problem with most bipods, that is, no middle position. If shooting from the bench, you are either too high or too low; Caldwell Lead slide.
They are proud of that one
Just purchased one (NIB) for $250 w/spike feet 🐾 included.
nice, that's a win.

Stick with your harris
Bought one today on sale for $255.00.
Sounds like a decent deal. 👍
Iam not being a troll, but what does it matter what it does, as long as it holds the rifle up🤷

Jesus Christ, I thought $230 for a fricken bipod was expensive. Over $300 for a bipod? Looks cool but not that cool. That's ridiculous.
michael enochs have you seen the MDT one? They have one that’s $1000.
Nothing against warne, but if I’m going to spend that much I’m going to buy Atlas.
22 degree cant....deal breaker...
Good old American screwing on price
That thing is ugly as hell...
jshwen lol that’s what people often say about Glocks, but here they are one of the best handguns on the planet.
@@PrecisionRifleNetwork ok fine, I won't bash it too hard until I have tried one. As for Glocks, I would disagree...
