I swear, lyrically and when it comes to production, Q-Tip is definitely up there with the greats in both categories. His boards are just some of the crispiest drums I’ve ever heard and all of the A Tribe Called Quest albums, even the last one are all classics. Salute to Q-Tip, a hip hop icon and legend
Even though hip hop from the 90's had samples from 60's and 70's song it was produced and blended perfectly to make a good hip hop beat unlike 98 percent of today's hip hop beats that sound recycled over and over again in all these rappers songs.
