i love that you’re so excited for school! i think if you waited til you got to college it might be better tho, bc prices might be down by then, you would have a better idea what to get, and you won’t have to use space for the supplies that you could’ve used for clothes and stuff. (just an idea, you can totally do whatever) i hope you have a fun summer and a great freshman year!!

Target is so expensive! The only time I ever go to buy there is when they have sales. I’d recommend waiting until it’s closer to back to school because they usually have better deals. I’m going into my final year of college and I survived off of cheap Daiso notebooks. Maybe try Muji stationary if you want cute and aesthetic supplies?
At target they have a post-it note pack that is $10 and it has SO many packs inside! Like 15 packs of various colors. It's soo worth it considering how much the individual ones are.

I’m like you Ashleigh. I too love stationery. Like what you said, I too need to be more intentional with the things I buy. I am very much attracted to color and I love pens. No need to buy more than what we need and make a conscious effort to take inventory of what we already have available. Love the video. Thank you for sharing.
As a college sophomore, one item I highly suggest is transparent sticky notes or tabs, they are a great tool to either mark an important page or trace diagrams if needed. Best thing I did for myself

I remember school shopping before covid and everything would be like 50 cents-$6 notebooks usually being the priciest idk if it cause I go to Walmart instead of Target or what but wow the prices are sky rocketing I would prefer buying used stuff from eBay for like 10x cheaper

honestly, like a couple notebooks or just 1 for the first day. the first day your teachers will tell you what they want so then you can go off that but for the first day just like a notebook pens and pencils, and ofc if you want other stuff:)
just buy the essentials, like a notebook pens pencils erasers etc. and wait until the first few days of school, once you meet all your teachers they will each tell you want they want you to buy for their class sometimes teachers want a notebook for each class or they let you have a binder for all your classes combined, s its best to wait
I bought those Paper mate pens and I really didn't like the way they write. Went back to Bic Round Stic Xtra life. Cheap, but I like how they write. Been using nothing but those for 5 years now.
