We are excited for your video about the Bicol region. Ariel's family lives there and we stayed a few months also in Legazpi City. Good Luck for finding your place to live. Greetings from cold Switzerland, Ariel & Susanne
Live in Dumaguete City area. Youll love the vibes there. Its centrally located you can go other areas easily like Siquijor, Bohol, Cebu, Bacolod or Mindanao! Plus there's a lot of expats who been living there for a long time.
@@SusieinthePhilippines municipalities near dumaguete is not as hot compare to other place, you can look at Pamplona, sibulan, Valencia where a lot of expats live right now then bacong, Dauin down to south of negros island,
You can go to Oriental Mindoro by passing to Batangas city then it's already Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro...it's just 2 hours from Batangas city... you can go all the way to caticlan
13:08 Those are pandan. Haha. The bags should have been a clue. Pandan is used extensively in traditional weaving in the Philippines. From bags to baskets to banig (bedmats/floormats), and in ancient times, sails of boats. They usually grow on beaches but can also grow in limestone-rich areas deeper inland.
I’m always looking forward for your upload. Keeps me out of depressing. When I was going through a tough week of break up I watched all the videos that you have uploaded. I hope you can upload more in a week. ❤️❤️ stay safe
Aww thank you so much I'm so happy our Vlogs can brighten up your days!! We will be working on figuring our a more frequent uploading schedule this year. Hope you are doing great now ❤️
I'm from Rizal, binangonan to be exact. My wife is from Quezon and we travelled that route very often. You travelled Antipolo, Teresa, turn left to Morong, Baras, Tanay, Pililla the last town of Rizal. Then you entered the first town of Laguna which is Mabitac, siniloan, famy, pangil, pakil, paete, kalayaan, lumban, pagsanjan, cavinte, Louisiana the last town of Laguna. The lucban, tayabas and finally lucena city😊😊
Wow yes!! As I read it I can remember seeing all of these places on the map! What we saw from Rizal was a really peaceful after we left Antipolo. I love the beautiful view. I'm so glad we took this route instead of traveling through Manila longer!
@@SusieinthePhilippines if you are going to bicol, from next town from lucena is pagbilao then atimonan which I recommend you go thru the old zig zag road between pagbilao and atimonan to see the beautiful view. From atimonan next is plaridel, gumaca, Lopez, calauag then bicol region.
Sue, every time I watch your vlog, I really enjoy and relax the way you make a road trip. Just be careful while you are on the road. Pray first before you leave or go somewhere else . May Almighty God bless you and protect you. Love your vlog. Be safe always 🙏.
Hi Susie, we, here from Manila have decided to move in to Baguio this coming May or June. Hehe. Not bad of a choice for the places you guys are scouting. But better to try to stay and live for at least 3 days to 1 week to get to feel the vibes of the environment, the community and security, and the ins and outs of things like how far the market is, is there a school nearby, is there a near hospital to run to in emergencies, cost of living: food, house, electricity and water. These stuff are always being considered when moving to a location. That's what we did when we scouted a location in Baguio. I hope you can fine the better and best place to hearts and your liking. God bless always, you lovely and humble couple. ❤️❤️❤️ Hi Jonathan, pare, regards. 👍👍👍
Yes I agree, if we find s place we really like we will try to stay there even longer maybe a month to really be able to see before making a final decision 😊
It would be!! We want to move only for a few months first. Can't decide for our whole life without trying it first plus each region of the Philippines is so interesting on its own. Wanna see more before we settle down. 😊
your cinematography has improved dramatically...we also love to roadtrip usually to national parks like yosemite and yellowstone. thank you for sharing your daytripping 😊
Just some tips: the east side of Luzon, including the Bicol region, are more prone to typhoon, unfortunately. So consider that if you’re deciding on those regions. The less prone to seasonal typhoon are the western Visayas and Mindanao. If you like provincial life, but still have convenient access to prime cities, Pampanga, Bulacan, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Tagaytay, Cebu are good options.
12:23 Yep. That's what I said before. Real bibingka is a ricecake, a kakanin. Made with sticky rice paste and coconut milk. So it's soft and moist and spongy. It's why I dislike the bibingka in Manila and other cities in southern Luzon because they're more like cake with egg.
Suzie, if I were you, I would chose SARIAYA, QUEZON to be the site of your DREAM HOME....The house and let there is not as expensive as that ofLucena City.
My small contribution to your adventure, Susie & Jonathan.
Stay Safe and Ride Carefully. 🙂
This is a huge help thank you so much for the support. ❤️
