Thank you for uploading these seasons. I still have the books on the shelves in my office after all these years, they meant the world to me as a kid. I only ever saw the first season on TV in my teens, so it's amazing to find the whole series on your channel. I recently learned that Netflix bought the rights to the entire Redwall franchise but has yet to produce anything new with those rights or even make this show available to watch. Real shame. Maybe one day soon we'll see a revival of the show or even some movies 🤞

Amazing series. I remember when this was on TV. Tim Curry as Slagar is just a masterpiece; hard to hear anyone else's voice other than his. I also feel sympathy for Vitch, he may have been a bully and went along with Slagar willingly but he was also just a kid.

Anyone there still watching this in 2021? I ask, because I have a question. Wasn't there a Redwall season where the hero (Martin maybe?) had a lady friend named Rose? And isn't that the reason for roses in the intro (and the abbey)? I seemed to remember seeing that. Or did that story line come as a prequel later in the series? Anyway, enjoying them still. Stay safe all.

And when I was like 7 I started to like Oscar. From violence to portraying good guys as nice wholesome animals and bad guys as evil ravenous carnivores, and they constantly besiege the good animals, all the time, because they're evil by nature!
To be fair, Cynthia was younger than the other kids I think and also is left as an orphan since her father was already dead prior to the events of season 2, and then Vitch cruelly taunts her by saying how they killed her mom, meaning she has absolutely no parents left, whereas Tim, Tess, Mattimeo, Sam Squirrel, and that badger girl all still have at least one surviving parent
im so glad that Matthias wasnt put aside for the sake of his son in the story, usually a show will let the main character have children, and then the children become the main charactes while the parents weve come to grow attached too take a bench.

I saw potential in that. But, his character had been terrible throughout the entire season, so, by the point he was killed, it was basically too late for Vitch to show any sort of redemption.

I’m just taking a trip down memory lane. 😆 I watched this show all the time as a kid, and maybe it’s the nostalgia effect but this series still holds up rewatching as an adult. And It’s more darker than I recall, I didn’t realize so much death happened in this series. Sure, it’s off screen but still implied and done in brutal ways by psycho villains. This is Game of Thrones for kids with animals.
Yeah. True. Plus, he just made himself vulnerable. I'm not sure if Vitch was actually treacherous. Sure, he made a racket, constantly antagonizing the slaves. But, he stopped, as soon as Slagar threatened Vitch himself with enslavement.
oh thank god, now i won't have to upload it (I spent the weekend merging all the mattimeos and Martin the Warriors together and now since this is up I won't have to do upload my Mattimeo compilation...except mine included the end credits but oh well) thanks!
I can't believe Tim Churchmouse doesn't speak the whole way through and then gets the bit right at the end?? Apart from that, he's basically written out of the script!! Also, as great as the series is, it has some weaker parts that really show just how good the plot of the book is. As a lover of the books, I'm glad they followed the book plot more closely in this season than the first. And all the best lines are straight out of the book!
Plot whole. Redwall in season 1 had a small standing army for defense. They got rid of it after only 8 years? Okay I guess they had eight years of peace but that's the reason for getting rid of their standing army after what happened in season one I would think they would want to keep one on? The defense that kept Clooney at Bay for an entire season is now gone when the damn crows try to invade?
You also have to take into consideration that there hasn't been any conflict between Redwallers and any invaders ever since the war against Cluny the Scourge. Granted, it might have been an even longer time from when Martin founded the order, but, when Cluny laid siege to RedWall Abbey, I get the feeling that was the very first time they have been in a period of war. Now, back to the point at hand, which is the fact that the defenders have not seen war since the siege by Cluny. 8 years is a longo time of peacetime. After a while, it can be difficult to get into the best shape to defend your territory, especially if war is not all that common. Seems to me like Cluny might have started a trend of some sort. I notice that ever since he attempted (and nearly succeeded) in taking command of the Abbey, other villains have their plans to follow suit. My question is, why do so many villains try to take over RedWall Abbey? I never hear of their motives, even Cluny's. Is that discussed in the books? Is RedWall Abbey some sort of location where those who have control of it have some significance in Mossflower Woods?
JediMaster362 well with Clooney it's pretty obvious he saw himself as a king deserving a proper Castle with strong walls to use as a base of operation for offensive and defensive purposes against his enemies while he pillaged the surrounding area I suppose ironbeak thought something similar I don't know give any of the warlord a sword and he'd want to conquer a castle
I don't know I think someone had suggested that most of those archers and stuff were the people that were under the redwallers care when Cluny invaded (that's how his name is spelled) to protect from the pillaging or something, otherwise they would have been in the same situation as Matthias was when he was young
As most of the adult main group are parents, I feel like they would/could have handled the situation with Cheek on the raft better. Also I like how character personalities don't alter much after they become parents, but on the other hand I feel like - since being parents is supposed to be a life changing experience - it's not very realistic that that they would be exactly the same as they were before. Except Matthias in the first episode, he was definitely realistic but I feel it kinda dropped afterward. Like with Cornflower, she doesn't seem any different after raising a kid, sure she acts responsibly and loving towards Rollo but she's always been a very caring character anyway, it seemed more like a big sisterly affection towards him, except the part when she's rocking him and contemplating on when Matiemao was a baby. She just seems young and exactly the same as when she was 13, not to mention she looks no different even though it's been at least 20 years, at least they switched up Matthias' design a bit to make him look older and more experienced. I don't know if it's different in the books but here it feels like they failed to incourperate how life and change can effect a character over time.
i caught a few episodes of this when i lived in canada at a friends house. i watched the first seaoson thinking i missremembered tim curry being in it. watch the 2nd season to find its this one. damn what a brilliant series. should get a glow up like the tin tin movie. would be brilliant to watch them as a trilogy how do we get this made
Warbeak is a boss queen on the same level as Targaryen. Earning her soldiers loyalty in a speech that I would go to battle for and dying to keep her promise, save a loyal sparrow from rats and help her friend. Crying or not I would die for Warbeak.
I understand it was probably forgotten for the sake of compelling conflict, but what happened to the entire defensive force present in repelling the siege of redwall from season 1?
To be fair, at one point it's said that they had "8 seasons of peace since the great war", which is atleast 8 years (probably even more since Matthias was I think about 13 years old during the war) and Mattimeo seams to be about as old as that. It is rather understandable that they have let their guard down about over these year.
Ah too bad the battle scenes couldn't be full scale. The horde battles felt a little underwhelming since they only animated ten or so characters at once if they weren't close to still images. I suppose it is an improvement from season 1, where Cluny's endless horde felt like 20 or so odd rats.
3:27:40 Whispers: "Well maybe if you ask me later, I can tell you exactly what will happen" I don't think they thought we would hear tim saying this because it doesn't fit the context AT ALL.
I knew something was going to happen with chickenhound after they merked his mum, but then we "saw" him get turnd into a meal by asmodeus, and i thaugt "well, looks like we ain´t gonna see him again".
Pov: it’s 20 years later and you’re just now discovering they made more than one season of redwall
They actually made 3. 🙂
They made red wall at all?
I wonder how some don't know because some kids used to watch PBS almost religiously. And this was a great time for PBS because this came on around the same time as Arthur and other shows like it.
I’m glad you came back to Redwall and found the other seasons!! Happy watching 😊

I'm not sure if Vitch was actually treacherous. Sure, he made a racket, constantly antagonizing the slaves. But, he stopped, as soon as Slagar threatened Vitch himself with enslavement.

"Hahaha SLAGAR NEVA MISSES!!!"
- I disagree, sir
Ok, and, where is that based on?
@@JediMaster362 Im talk to the villain in context because he wasted his bolo throw?
And mattius never knew that was chicken hound
*rat shows off how he's assimilated, but not quite realizing how happy he'd be living there*
oh thank god, now i won't have to upload it (I spent the weekend merging all the mattimeos and Martin the Warriors together and now since this is up I won't have to do upload my Mattimeo compilation...except mine included the end credits but oh well) thanks!
iHeartRyanStiles: No problem! Please Share this video with your friends! Martin the Warrior is up next ! Probably will be up by tomorrow.
This is going to be on my twitter feed faster than you can say I AM THAT IS
iHeartRyanStiles: Awesome! Thanks! Can you send me your Twitter? I will follow you on there, if you want.

iHeartRyanStiles: Ah, ok. I followed you on Twitter. My username on there is SonAmyFan362.
Tim Curry was such a legend
Slagar the slaver very impressive villian on par with some of the best 👌
"It's not kill 'em all, it's Redwall"
I like the relationship between Basil Hare and the young Otter.
Thank you for this.
Series totally deserves a new reboot
I can't believe Tim Churchmouse doesn't speak the whole way through and then gets the bit right at the end?? Apart from that, he's basically written out of the script!!
Also, as great as the series is, it has some weaker parts that really show just how good the plot of the book is. As a lover of the books, I'm glad they followed the book plot more closely in this season than the first. And all the best lines are straight out of the book!
he had more dialogue than that in the book and so did Jube
rewatched all of S1 yesterday...finished Season 2 just now. RIP TO MY GOAT WARBEAK😭😭
Also, you meant "Plot hole". Whole means another way to say "entire", or "full". You can re-edit your Comment.
JediMaster362 😒you know what i mean
I don't know if it's different in the books but here it feels like they failed to incourperate how life and change can effect a character over time.
i caught a few episodes of this when i lived in canada at a friends house. i watched the first seaoson thinking i missremembered tim curry being in it. watch the 2nd season to find its this one. damn what a brilliant series.
should get a glow up like the tin tin movie.
would be brilliant to watch them as a trilogy
how do we get this made
Warbeak is a boss queen on the same level as Targaryen. Earning her soldiers loyalty in a speech that I would go to battle for and dying to keep her promise, save a loyal sparrow from rats and help her friend. Crying or not I would die for Warbeak.
Hmm, i always imagined crows in redwall to be about sholder hight, ah well
Thanks 👍 again really enjoyed watching.
No problem!
Man...war beak and log a log....YOUR KILLING ME REDWALL!!!
LOGALOGALOGALOGALOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOREVER!!!!!!!
LOGALOGALOGALOGALOGALOG!!!!! At least he died smiling 😔
Love the music really atmospheric.🥰
I understand it was probably forgotten for the sake of compelling conflict, but what happened to the entire defensive force present in repelling the siege of redwall from season 1?
They didnt gad the time to rally them as oppose to being under siege.
Funny how the Red Wallers have had at least to the three chances to literally beat the birds to death
Game of thrones is the only other show I know where so many characters lose their lives.
Ok the Abby really needs a standing gaurd / militia to protect it
To be fair, at one point it's said that they had "8 seasons of peace since the great war", which is atleast 8 years (probably even more since Matthias was I think about 13 years old during the war) and Mattimeo seams to be about as old as that.
For realllll!!!! Cluny seemed like a low level mobster compared to who he was in the books
3:27:40 Whispers: "Well maybe if you ask me later, I can tell you exactly what will happen"
I don't think they thought we would hear tim saying this because it doesn't fit the context AT ALL.
True.
You call it "Copyright infringement", I call it a "Let´s watch"
Hey, most of us paid for some or all of the books at some point. I hope Brian lived comfortably❤
Baby Rollo is the GOAT from redwall 🐐
Weve been knocked out and our children have been stolen quickly add it to the tapestry there’s no time to spare
😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I watched this a long time ago but i still think this was a great show
3:11:00 Rolling around at the speed of sound!
Redwall’s version of Sonic the Hedgehog
@HuskyDog88:Yep! Just, don't expect him to jump at robots, and robotic vehicles, any time soon.
As a boy in junior high I remember things being a lot darker in the books but this is still good
i have vague memories of this series as a child....
nice show
4:08:00 Now thats a nice proper stoning!
I knew something was going to happen with chickenhound after they merked his mum, but then we "saw" him get turnd into a meal by asmodeus, and i thaugt "well, looks like we ain´t gonna see him again".
