Hello, I am a young man, something that you need to know and all the people that listen to this song is, this song is not meant for young women only, THIS IS NOT JUST FOR YOUNG WOMEN, this is for everyone, even tho a young woman sings it, both, male and female can apply this song to their own lifes. I, with a friend (my friend is a young woman) , sing this for church youth meetings, so that young men know that this is for them too, they are divine, they are loved, and they are special too. Both, male and female, we are children of a Perfect God, with that same potential of becoming like Him. He loves you, and he loves me.

I remember my mom while I was listening to this song. When my mom turned 40 she had a skin discoloration, she has vitiligo, a skin desiase. At first she was hesitant to go to church because of her appearance. I even bought a stockings for her. She used it for a couple of Sundays. But she didn't wear it again that time when she really accept her appearance and know how she God sees her as her daughter. I love my mom whatever looks she has. Now that she was in the spirit world, I remember her smile and her good example to me. If the time will come that I will also have the same skin discoloration when I turned 40, I still have my God who tell me I'm divine. Soon my mom and I will be reunited with a perfect body.

I have SH scars from when I was going through my depression and is always made me uncomfortable to have them because I should've gone to our Heavenly Father then to do something to myself. Those lyrics just hit so hard to the soul and it kind of just brings back my confidence in some ways. Thank you so much for this amazing music!

I just returned from the gather conference where a queer 18 year old sang this from the bottom of her heart. She said when she heard this at fsy it was the first time she remembers hearing a queer Latter Day Saint song and she belted it as if she knew it were true. It felt like a sacred experience to witness this. It is so true! We are all beloved! Forever and always no matter how we have pushed god away from us we are beloved and he is in relentless pursuit of us!
I've been praying for how to help my friend who's been dealing with a lot, and my young women's leader just sent this out and told us to share. I know it'll be a small gesture, but I feel seen and I know Christ can fill in where I fall short if I go out and try. You are all divine and I know Christ loves you all.

I was reading the lyrics in the for the strength of youth magazine and I’m not even 15 and working 2 hours away from where I live for the summer so I’m not even living with my family even I haven’t slept in my own bed for a very long time and it is very hard and I’m really bad at time management and am trying to improve but sometimes I’ll hear my boss over talk or anyone over talk about my faults and what I’m bad at and it doesn’t make me feel very wanted so when I read “when I don’t feel wanted you call me beloved” I started to cry and I haven’t been able to cry in a very long time bc I’m always around so many people and I don’t want to cry in front of them and that just made me feel loved and know that I am wanted. So just remember guys you will always be wanted by the people who matter most
