I met Zola in Mellvile he is humble and full of knowledge, He helped me find a place to stay in Westdene then things went south I couldn't afford a place he let me stay to his place for a while 🙏🏽
Are you the guy that stole his stuff and ran away??
@@sonofsoweto 😂😂😂😂
I met him in 1999, Botshabelo stadium, he was on the pick of his career but he came to chill with us b4 the show began, he is so humble ❤️
@@sonofsoweto 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Damn.......
This man gave me my start! I grew up about 5 houses away from his house Ezola 2 Sehoole Street and he truly is a humble person who wants to see black people win. I got a Bursary through him & I will forever be grateful!
He said in his interview he hopes those he has helped pave it forward, I wish that for you too...
Wow
Let's remember to pass it forward. 🤛🏾
But he died asking donation for his epilepsy condition.
@@nicholasledwaba8315 So he died? 🤔
Bhut Zola needs to be celebrated whilst he is still alive lomuntu did so much for black people and still wants to do more , he needs to be supported and celebrated. What an icon👏🙌
True . Thing is if you wise, they see a
U as the problem. Independently, its a wiin win
Ngivumelana nawe dade
I second your thought... Big up
I remember when Zola shoot his hlabelela music next to the primary school I attended, he bought us lunch and told us to stay in school. this is a living legend
Zola is an Icon for real. Can listen to him all day.
You must reach out to him and shoot his documentary or produce Zola 7 ,with good sponsor of course ☺️☺️❤️❤️

10 minutes into the interview and I already feel like South Africans will regret not helping this man when help is all he needed.. Thank you
Macg definitely giving Zola his flowers now, it's great to see
Its legendary....
Yes
🕯🕯I hope he gets an award of sorts 🕯🕯
We love to praise our legends after their passing, it's way better to do it while they are still around you know
You nailed it.
Yo, MacG is sober on this podcast. He's not drinking his Grandeur as usual...even his line of questions is different here. He's showing Zola a lot of respect 🙌🙌🙌
I noticed this
Big Zulu warned him about asking Zola dodgy questions 😅
I’ve noticed too
@@lesedimogale5853 and then he did,smh
Yeah he is sooo focused
The comments on the Israel Zulu interview lead me here!!! MacG is doing the things. We may have all these icons shaping us into the better women and men we could ever be , For me its still MacG and his team!!! BIG UPS GUYS! You need a slot on television ngoba the world needs to see your work my brother.
Same here
Me myself too
Wow me three
me too
This man is a true Icon I grew up listening and still listening to him his songs gives life I love him. May God keep you
Zola is like an African mystic. Out of his mouth flow the streams of wisdom. This is a man who ponders deeply on every word he says. I pray I get to meet him in my lifetime
God bless every black person reading with health, wealth & peace.
I receive🙌🕯
Stop the racism
I have met Zola 7 personally and I can confirm. He is such a normal person and very down to earth yet a whole public figure 😁. Zola 7 is a national treasure. Zingu 7
Oh my same here he such a humble being
Namanje 👆🏾
You inspire me
I enjoy the potcast and it has change my mind set
"Apartheid was fighting sober black women, if they got the women drunk, we would have lost the battle a long time ago". That hit home.
Zola really is an icon living and full of wisdom. He is not you're typical music artist he yearns for knowledge always and seems to pass it down every chance he gets. May we celebrate and appreciate him more.
I swear this was a deep podcast!!!! This not just for S.A, This is for the whole AFRICA!!!!! Love from Zambia!!!!
The "Utatakho" situation sounds very similar to Somizi's cook/dinner show and the guy who accused him of stealing his idea and had e-mails to prove it. Big ups to Zola for standing up for that kid.
There is no south African artist that I respect more then this guy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Zola (Quoting John Schaar) "The future is not some place we're headed, but one we're creating; and the path to it changes both the maker and the destination" 🐐🐐
I can’t believe I flew to Cape Town to watch this in the cinema and now I’m here back to the live chat family that I love... Hello members. I love you all!
Nota 🔥
Respect👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
We love you just as much family.
The Authority !!! Soo misunderstood but you are the truth man...mad love
K, Nota. Congratulations, we'll put that down with other suggestions for the guinness world records.
"Some people will train you to hate your father" that line hits harder if you relate😖
I totally relate.
I felt it too
100%, and yet they call themselves 'mothers' ncncnc
Find comfort 🤗
Yep
A sad but true story line we all relate to
Zola has got a lot of life in his eyes. He’s got fire in his eyes. That’s a good, good thing.
I know it's been some couple of months back since this interview was recorded but i to come back here and listen to the icon's wisdom Zola 7 may you live long Guluva and to Mac G #salutebozzalami
Am i the Only one who can't wait to Watch this???.... i have goosebumps already 😊
Bro 👌🏽🙆🏽♂️. I'm just waiting for wisdom after wisdom 🙏 😌 .

I got goosebumps as I started watching. This guy is just ABUNDANT. I hope he knows. I think he knows. And McG knew which buttons to press. He was FULLY in this. Oh my word!! 7 hearts for this. I'm bawling!!!
I like how he says "Life gets simpler".

45 000 views in 5 hours. South Africa loves Zola 7 with a passion 🔥
The numbers are going crazy. This is definitely making it to top 5
Our problem is that we always need to celebrate our special individuals when they're gone. This guy deserves a big recognition. He is indeed an icon
I just discovered this podcast umfowethu.. I've been living abroad in Switzerland for more than 10 years now. I just wanna say ngiyabonga eksê. The quality is there, and so much content to go through. And this bra Zola, I also met him when I was studying at RAU.. Melville side.. and he is one of the most down to earth celebs eva eva braMac! Hola Skabenga, hola 7! You've just earned another subscriber umhlobo wami, from a white boy who's lived in Madela kufa, Tembisa. Aweh braMac!
Hit a 👍button if you also appreciate this interview and the guy Zola 7 himself...
Icon indeed
👌💪🙏🙌👍
It's a blessing to listen to Zola for free. I'd pay good money to hear him speak
For free how so
@@mohlaletserocks speakers charge big bucks for an audience, I think that's what he means
me too bra
He deserves all the flowers.
@@mohlaletserocks I watched this on youtube for free...
I've listened to a lot of artists speak, but there is always something valuable to take from Zola all the time after he speaks... God Bless and May the Almighty give you the strength to heal & be strong.
this guy is totatally the opposite from his persona we saw growing up..made me want to go back to all of his music and listen again...big up to the brother, you are an inspiration to the young generation, more life to you
I’m only 22, grew up on this guy’s music as a kid.. funny thing is I’ve never watched any of his interviews but i can tell he’s what he preaches in his music, a very smart man too and nobody is perfect but mane i really love that he acknowledges that.. long live to Bongikosi., i wish to meet him one day.. and ever since i took this path of being a music artist myself I’ve been longing to have a man to man conversation him just to get some game.. wish that dream comes true.. either than that I’m forever giving him his flowers while he’s still alive... and may he find peace from whatever that they put him through, i never had an idea that they manipulated him this much.. let alone that there’s people that hate him because of what the media said about him.
We love MacG for giving Zola 7 his flowers while he is still alive.❤🥺
Abuti Zola is so relaxed, he looks like he’s enjoying himself. Well done MagG
This guy is museum, Zola is special. I think we are ready for a President ya artist as a country. 🤞🏾
I think Zola should do a movie about the truth about the South African music industry. I believe it will be big and eye opener for new people coming to the music industry or before they come to the industry.
Da Dum
Our DMX our Tupac our first rapper most educated guluva
Not a Tupac and not a DMX. Just Zola. I'd be tempted to say that Tupac is America's Zola but I won't. Its the same war but on different battle fronts.
"I'm not working untill I find an honest company" our very own Dave Chappell!!! Respect to this guy!!!!!!
That man got the jewels...I always considered him our South African 2pac because he embodied every great thing pac did(Music, acting, positive, man of the people)...everything he touched turned to gold let's honor this man
MacG didn’t take a sip of anything during this interview 😱. He is a Zola admirer.
This is a 7million worth viewership, and will watch it 7 times for the next 7 days...
It's amazing just how Zola smiles from just the simplest little things ........

I hope he recovers fully. We still need him
Zola's story its really heartbreaking. We thank the lord for your life Zola.
Bonginkosi Zola 7 Dlamini is king. a conversation with this guy was always a magic. I am owning my company vandal TeJays Media Productions due to him. i remember his own words "Yekela ukuspanela amangamla kau" while i was working for Lancet and I'm happy vandag bcos of him. Salute mzolisto
We owe our freedom to our sober grandmothers
Profound🙌🏻
That was deep
I didn't really understand this, someone care to explain
Meaning that if the previous regeme would have concentrated on getting our grandparents drunk then that would have destroyed the next generation. But they failed to kill the next generation
@@enockmbuyiselomkhunjulwa2611 tjerrr nice and simply put.
Zola spoke in-between words. If you can hear, you're listening with your heart.
Zola, what a podcast. The wisdom on this man. May God continue to lead him hle. His heart is in the right place. Thanks @MacG

It is through such people, like Zola that you realise how resilient and strong Black people are despite how crazy the world is. Wow. Good interview.
Recover Zola, u're not alone in the epileptic world. Your knowledge is very building.
"Some people will train you to hate your father" that line hits harder if you can relate with the drama of baby mamas in nowadays.
He doesn't mince his words he speaks straight....that line "Too old Too safe Too tradional" power
That line. Yoh. The truth spoken.
It's time he wrote a book about life . He is just full of knowledge and wisdom.
What an interview to be watched over and over? Be blessed ZOLA 7. Your Legacy man.🙏🏾🇳🇦
Guys we need to give it to Zola ... his name didn't fall in a sky it was God's given 🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥
Here’s my idea. Can all the SA artists who aren’t benefiting from their music please let us know,so we can boycott the music?? Radios and Tvs included!
💯
Yea this cycle needs to end
Right!!??
And actors too don't benefit from repeats.
The movement would be much greater if these artists would join arms with the technical people that work behind the scenes instead of making themselves superior. Because at the end of the day, they too are also not getting the money that they deserve.
Thank you Zola we all went through depression at some point, what a genius, intellectual, academic, living legend, mentor, teacher i mean he's everything your mind can come across, big up to you man and thank you #macg
I Find His Self-awareness, His Message Delivery Astounding His Ability To Speak To The Person He's Having A Conversation With Is Captivating.🙌🏾 #Respect For Zola #LoveLightWisdon.
I just love how Zola constantly made reference to education And kids going back to school
❤️ Pray his 10 year old son will watch this one day. beautiful episode
A real icon indeed. What a mind blowing podcast. I wish my son Sihle get it as he once wanted to meet him but didn't get reply from the letter he wrote to him years ago. Never too late to try again. May the Lord protects his soul as a precious African gem!!
I am so proud of maturity within Zola. What a man he has become.
When he held that cassette and said "life can be simple" I felt that ❤
I think this will be the mother of all MacG's interviews, the waiting is killing my curiosity🍿🕔
This is an icon ngempela mpela shem .... so much wisdom
Zola is one treasure we need to polish every now and then, but guys I need to say this Mac G is the best when coming to asking questions (classic)
I wanted him to go in on the religion vs tradition topic, coz Zola is uMoya walking and has so much depth on this subject. Dankie Grootman. More life to you and really hope you get that that TV deal you deserve with the IP.

Izolo lokhu You were making people's dreams come true. You fed the needy with your
kids money. You travelled countries representing South Africa as a servant, leaving
abo Mvelo, Lwandle, Bhambatha, Nyezi emuva with no one protecting your family
against all odds. You cried daily when you heard stories of infants whom are not being
taken care of. You stood up and influenced big Companies like Cell C to help You feed
the needy and the orphans. You made dreams come True with your show Zola 7 ,You left Your mother waya emazweni... You took out
money from your own pocket and paid school fees of girls from Tanzania ( Dara
Salam) who were prostitutes and they changed since that day to become an asset
to that country. You represented South Africa in African Countries until you were
honoured by the Shakur family as the 2pac wase Mzansi. Nkosi sikelela I Africa if
this is how we going to honour and celebrate our heroes downfall... Zola I believe
in you I'm sure the whole South Africa do believe in you, I don't care what the media is saying about you. This is not a downfall to you..
This is a temporary set back. You'll bounce back.I'm singing your song "Ngizokulinda uzubuye cause you promise uzobuya Ngizokulinda uzubuye" .The devil and his people ngeke balunge.
