I think this is one of the maps that you expand quickly, unlike ghost lake. So focus on gold, unifying your camps and protecting your villagers - because you will have to send them far. Look what Mista did here bruh. Good luck.

Greeks need to have an effective counter to myth units..maybe adding a tech that lets their infantry do better defensively or aggressively against myth is the way.

They do already.
It’s called Beast Slayer and Weapons of the Titans.

@ the fortress units don't seem cost effective and even with the upgrades in you'd have to stall long enough to not get myth spammed..All the other civs feel pretty balanced against myth units with egypt clearly having an upper hand with ranged priests

@@typicalhooman101 You’re also overlooking one other factor: Myth Units.
A lot of players forget that Myth Units are good answers and Greeks have a good method for steady favor generation.

Myth units are the general answer to the problem in the classical age. As you get to the heroic age/mythic age I don't think Greek struggles vs MU
