I really like how Dan started with the low notes, then taking it to the higher ones and varying inbetween. Fricking amazing and powerful. His Nightwish covers are fantastic 💯 And he did 11 of them, so definitely check out his playlist of them, you might already have reacted to one or another said covers.

It's a funny thing - I'm not a metalhead, i don't freak out over all kinds of metal music, i don'teven like most of it. But Danmetal is somehow just awesome, most of the songs he's covered I've never heard before, and in the beginning, i tried to listen to the originals - i wanted to - but after the first few bars, and the first phrase of the singer, I was like: 'nah...' and put Dan's version back on. Nowadays i don't even bother trying. I did with 'Number of the beast', because so many said he sounded just like Bruce Dickinson, whom I'd never heard, so out of curiosity, i wanted to know what people were on about - and i was shocked - are people deaf??? But yeah, Dan has totally and utterly ruined me to other artists. Unless i hear a song by the original first, i won't know their version, because once I've heard it sung by Dan, i can't level it down again inside my head.
I still haven't listened to all of Dan's amazing covers. Honestly, most of the songs he has done I have never even listened to the originals. After I listen to him sing a song, I just can't bring myself to listen to anyone else's voice singing it. I feel a little guilty towards the original artists. Thank you for your reaction. I don't think Dan is an alien, but I do think he is a gift from Heaven itself.
Great Reaction to our valued legend Dan Vasc. He only makes songs better. I agree but that should be all his songs not just Night wish. Such as Born to be wild steppenwolf vs Born to be wild Dan Vasc.
This sounds great with his voice, but it's a different version from the original. I think I still prefer the original, because the inner emotional level is deeper with Tarja or Floor singing this. This guy has a great voice and charisma though
This needs a big ability in variating your voice (many Nightwish songs do) and a "living in the songs meaning" (hopefully only as long as the song lasts) to perform it the right way. Great job. 🎶(if you want to hear how it could sound together with Tarja - Karla Bessa edited them together on her channel. It surely would sound better if they really perform together, but you can get a taste of it)
I could be wrong, but I heard Karla Bessa edited these two together without permission from either artist. She is making money off their videos. Dan mentioned something like this, but didn’t mention any names. I have noticed that she has several of his videos on her channel.

@@shirleyemrick1700 Dan has given permission in one of his live streams for people to use his stuff, he doesn’t claim copyright. Dan’s smart, when people see and hear him sing, they will look him up, this is a way to drive people to his UA-cam channel.
Like I said, I could be wrong. I recommend one of what I thought was Dans videos and several people corrected me and said it was Karla’s video and that I shouldn’t support her, because she didn’t get Dans permission. I really need to stop commenting. I listen to what others say and it always seems to be wrong. I apologize for the mistake.

It's always better to make up your own mind. For my part I like Karla's work and enjoy watching it. I find that when I go back and listen to the originals, that Dan Vasc has covered, I like Dan Vasc’s cover better. Dan Vasc has jaded us all.

For Nightwish songs, the order of listening should go Tarja>Annette>Floor>Dan Vasc, Minniva, Yannis Papadopoulos
