I’m a fly “purist” but I watch lots of lure fishing videos. Because I learn lots of stuff from the lure guys that I can apply to fly fishing.

I'd say I'm fly fishing 85% to 90% of the time, but I still enjoy chucking a lure or even some bait under a float. I love it all. That's what makes UA-cam great in my opinion; TONS of varied fishing content from all over the world.

I see fly fishing for pike as another tool to achieve my goal. I love the way pf fishing but I also lure fish, do some deadbait fishing, … The mix of all techniques makes it very interesting throughout the entire fishing season. Not every method works every time so I’m not too bothered about whatever others think, as long as I enjoy my days out on the water 😉
