Please please tell us where you find these old American standard songs I heard when I was a child over 60 years ago. I have not heard it for many years and somehow you make it sound amazing. Salamat, salamat! Your harmonies are amazing, your energy and enthusiasm are infectious, and your connection with each other is endearing. Even the youngest of the group-yes I am talking about you Dodz-performs in a way that makes all of us tap or stomp our feet. As I have said it before, I do not understand how all of you put these songs together this quickly and at this level of quality. I’m sure many of us in the USA are deeply touched by your sincere enthusiasm for our music. It has forced this older guy from Hawaii to start paying attention to filipino music and start learning some basic tagalog. I hope to visit your country and if lucky, maybe even hear you perform live. Salamat po. -pagpalain kayong lahat ng diyos. ❤
GREAT rendition of an old favorite! (My Grandmother picked cotton in the hot Texas Sun in the 1920s while she had a baby on her back and pulling another along the way as she picked the Cotten).
A perfect song to hear how the three of you blend your voices beautifully. You know, I am not a fan of any celebrity but I am a big fan of this Franz family. The bond, humility and talent (from hard work I am sure) is amazing to me. I wish you all the best. Mike from USA and Cagayan De Oro
This band is really heaven sent to relieved our worries, stress and homesickness every time we hear them play. They bring smile to our faces as always especially OFW. Thanks for the cover guys! We love you.❤
💌ADD to YOUR CCR COLLECTION of FRANZRHYTHM! OK now, you have "Proud Mary" and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain." FranzRhythm's own twist of "Cotton Fields" makes it uniquely FranzRhythm's and that's what makes us hooked and hoping for more, more, more! Love, love, love! 💌
I don't think there is another family band that is good as they are. Your harmonization is beyond compare!!! Always a pleasure to hear them sing and play their hearts out!!!
This song was first written and recorded by Huddie Ledbetter in 1940. There have been many, many covers done over the years. I can remember in the distant recesses of my memory growing up in North Carolina a cover done on the “Arthur Smith” show, out of Charlotte. That must have been around 1960-62. I remember going around as a 6-year-old singing it. Having been with my Filipina wife and her family for 21 years now, I was delighted to hear this song rendered by such talent, in that delightful Filipino accent!
Lalo nyo akong pinapahanga mga master, in my 46 years of my life, ngayon ko lang narinig ang kanta na to kaya para sa akin kayo ang original ng kantang ito, I love the energy of Char here and Chen dudz at tatay franz with your lovely smile lalo ako na iinlove sa inyo 😍😍😍😍
Once again you guys bring it up to another level and Chen can make any guitar sound good! Char amazes with the rhythm and harmonies and leads at times. Dodz is a natural… still amazed at his talent that seemed to sprout like blossoms, very rapid progression in his skills. The ROCK… Franz, secretly holding everyone together. I love his modesty but can’t deny his superb and varied skills of music and leadership! Perfect harmony my friends and you have us all tapping our feet to this song that CCR brought into modern rock history from the days of cotton pickers singing in the fields to ease their burdens. Now Franz Rhythm family brings it again to the world with admirable voices, harmonies and musical instruments mastered by intelligent talent! Love and miss you all.❤ Thank you for bringing us such joy.
I don’t think this classic CCR song is being covered by other cover bands in the Philippines except our talented Franzrhythm band and they nailed it… what is amazing is those masters CHEN, CHAR and DUDZ are young but love to cover these classic songs exceptionally…goosebumps 👏 luv you guys watching from Los Angeles California a die hard fan of this band ❤️🎶😍
Jusme, ang sarap pakinggan para kang nasa alapaap...mas lalong gumagaling si Chen, Char and Dodz... mas lalo na si Sir Franz... at mam Arlene sa likod ng camera... God Bless Birad Family🙏
Wow very nice cover para sa akin hindi na kayo ordinaryong musician sa tingin ko jenius po kayo lahat about sa musika grabe kayo congrats goodluck Godbless..
It's no longer a song that belongs to Lousiana and Texarkana. This is a song I grew up listening in India and we played it often in school not knowing where Lousiana is(was).
you really have to hold a concert even just for a day.. then a tour..Philippines tour.. first in Visayas, Mindanao and Luzon.. i am sure,, all tickets will be sold out
"COTTON FIELDS" history goes back a few centuries when black slaves labored hard picking cotton in the heat of the sun in the South (hence, the reference to Louisiana, a southern US state). Although Creedence Clearwater Revival (and many others) popularized it in the 60s, it was originally written and sung by a black blues singer Huddle Ledbetter in the 1940s, only less than eighty years after the black slaves had gained their freedom. Many great black singers sang of what life was like for them in the time of slavery. Many groups and solo singers covered the song but CCR's version is probably the most popular because of their other big hits ("Bad Moon Rising," "Lodi," "Have You Ever Seen the Rain, "Proud Mary," "Green River," "Born on the Bayou," etc.). The first time I heard "Cotton Fields" was during a Boy Scouts' campfire when this song was performed by a band of Boy Scouts accompanied by their ukuleles. This reminds me of Dodz' Boy Scouts' Jamboree recently in Balilihan, Bohol. Flashback of my Boy Scouts years. Thank you, Dodz! Thank you, Char, Chen, Lene & Franz for this super cover! ☮
Another classic CCR cover with your own awesome twist. Again, always impressed and never disappointed. You guys are so good, Chen, maybe a little louder on your solo but all and all, very well done, nice dancing around Char. Dodz, you always lead everyone to a great ending. Well done, thanks for the music!
I give them a golden buzzer! Please let me give you 100 thumbs up!
They need to go on a world tour. They can't just play like that inside their home. The world needs to see them. SUPER SUPER COOL.🎉🎉🎉
Agreed 👍💯
People all over the world still can watch them even they perform inside their house..still can make money
Exactly! Enter a singing contest and they're sure to win. All cover songs they do sounds better than the originals.
I whole heartedly that they should tour , even just 2 try out, maybe even sponsorship by Philippines Airlines, as they fly the world,
I was just thinking the same thing!!
When you guys get world famous, please don’t lose your humble spirit. It’s really the number one quality of your group along with the musicianship
i look with great pleasure at the little drummer.. a great talent and makes no mistake....perfect ..my compliments
I mean seriously, that little one is playing the drums like a boss! fantastic!
