Great details, but I especially like that you pointed out that it’s really a giant hatchback more than an SUV. I’m considering the Volvo EX30 and am watching the Zeeker X and Smart #1 reviews to get details on the SEA platform, but you provided a lot of “what it would be like to live with” details.
Great review which speaks to the driver. Still I am wondering how so there is no review/s on Lynk & Co 08 and that is coming to Europe soon? New platform. New technologies. New hopes :)
insanely thoughtful design. Kudos to the brave new world of EV cars today. All Evs have relatively great torque, giving even high powered ICE cars find challenging to achieve.
Prices have been announced, and the Zeekr X can now be pre-ordered in the EU. Prices range between 45.000 euro for the entry-level Single motor model, to 50.000 euro for the dual motor awd version. So, comparable to its sister's Volvo EX30 prices, but with somewhat higher specs.
Another impressive product. I envy the Chinese alot these days as far as a car nut is concerned. They have such great choice available for EVs and they all look and feel good. Their cars are just different.
Good price, good sound system, and cool futuristic look will be great good sale... Remember, making money is getting harder and harder for the whole world's citizens going forward...
I recently had a drive in a Hyundai Ioniq 6, and instantly realised that anything faster than 5s 0-100kmh is completely unnecessary for the vast majority of the public, and especially on regular roads.
@@walidmohammed93 wow what is the answer, from your reply i see how u r into electric vehicles 😂😂😂, no matter, I received from another channel my inquiry, ciao
You have nothing to fear. Zeekr was born two or three years ago. This brand belongs to the Geely company. I have an electric vehicle from Geely and I still can't believe that I bought a Chinese car at the expense of a Honda or another European one.
Thanks for your video. I think the comparison with ID3 was a bit awkward. I think it's a little difficult for you to accept the Zikr, but I believe in her very much. I'm waiting for a Ziker to replace my great Geely 460.
The fact that it has an NCM battery is a big drawback for me, and I would be much more attracted if it had an LFP or sodium battery of the same capacity. I hope that the sale of vehicles is like at Tesla, and not through the dealer network in Europe.
Quite the contrary, LFP is a low cost alternative to NCM that is only used on cost-sensitive models. LFP has lwer energy density, low-temp performance is significantly worse. SOC estimation is more difficult. You can manage it if you are Tesla but Model S & X are still on NCM cells.
@@telescopesh You are not right, the energy density of all batteries has increased in the last two years. LFP are like former NCM with energy density over 200 Wh/kg vs NCM batteries is currently around 270 Wh/Kg.. There are vehicles on the market with a battery capacity of more than 100 kWh. So LFP and sodium batteries are the direction to go, not NCM, because they have greater advantages (low probability of self-ignition, can be regularly charged up to 100% while the NCM slightly above 80%, which ultimately gives a smaller vehicle range, are far cheaper, less capacity degradation over time, etc.). Look at their densities, for example LMFP has an energy density of 240 Wh/Kg, and the energy density of NCM batteries is currently around 270 Wh/Kg. The LMFP volumetric cell to pack ratio has reached 76% after adopting the L600 cell, and the system energy density has reached 190Wh/kg, surpassing the pack energy density of current mass produced NCM cells. It is due to the high energy density of Astroinno battery that can enable a range of 1000 km without relying on NCM materials.”
@@vlatkopetrovic4512 I worked in an EV company and oversaw the switch from NCM to LFP cells and knows all the pros and cons behind it. You can list all the data(btw most of them are wrong anyway) but give me a high-end EV that's using LFP cells then we can talk.
@@telescopesh Battery technology advances very quickly, the energy density of batteries is constantly increasing, and the difference between them in energy density is constantly decreasing. There are far more advantages of LFP and LMFP batteries than NCMs. NCMs they have a slightly higher energy density, and the most important thing is that NCMs can only be charged up to about 80% in regular charging, so that they have a slightly higher energy density in reality you can not rarely use, and there are a bunch of other advantages of LFP and LFMP batteries that I mentioned in the previous text.
@@vlatkopetrovic4512 I provide regular analysis to battery manufacturers in China. You don't need to educate me on battery. And again you are wrong. All high end EVs were, are and always will be on NCM cells until solid state battery enters volume production.
It's look nice from first view! But from my experience I can tell that Europeans car have much better quality, will last much longer! With 25K I can buy a good almost new Toyota, that will last even longer than European. Japanese cars are also very good!
Lots of gimmicks in this car and perhaps some which might appeal to those with a disability, but filling a car with leather and non-recyclable/recycled materials will not connect with the growing market of people who are concerned about the environment. Leather no longer represents 'luxury'.
The car is great your voice is not annoying however try to show the vehicle without yourself in the shot so much if the car is stationary. After all the star of the show is the car not you, thanks.

What a fantastic video! You did a great job
Excellent review, many thanks. I would take this one over the Volvo EX30 because of the back seat leg room
Hello from France, remarquable review with so deeply analyze 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
This channel is second to none for PRC made car reviews.
Zeekr design and quality is spectacular in my opinion. Look forward to their IPO.
25K in china, certainly 45K in Europe, not so interesting anymore for us...

Finally someone call this not an suv but a giant hatchback.
I really appreciate your reviews! Nice work. Clear and thoughtful.
keep it up love your video and reviews.
It is the best BEV in China in my opinion. As a petrolhead, if you told me to choose a BEV and pay for it, I'll definitely choose that.

All electric motor,s generate more torque than an equivalent petrol engines.

Incredible package! Let’s see the price in Europe.
44 to 50k

Very Nice video. In Portugal we are waiting to ser the brother Volvo ex30. The price Will be around 43000€. Let see the new zeek x arrive in europe
Will this be available in UK? At the moment you can't pre-order.

Geely Zeekr

catchy
46.000€ in Europe 😂
52.000€ for the dual motor in white color...
I wonder what justifies this difference.

I bet the dual motors gives AWD?
so it's not really a 25000 euro car, it's a 30000 euro car. The ID2 will be 5000 euro less so it's unfair to compare the two.
It would be a better comparison with MG4 rather than ID3 in my opinion
How was the consume in kWh/100km.??
Very charming car!
Zeekr X could be pre-ordered for EUR 45.990 !!! the tax is killing the competition from outside Europe
Still competitive, look at what you get at VW (id3 with the same equipment is 15k more expensive).
@@DBGE001 id3 is selling for 12k~15k in China now, literally the gap of what you said

Awesome video 🙌 and car
Inexpensive but lots of gadgets scares me in terms of QC and long-term maintenance. Zeekr doesn't have a great track record in this department.

no tax please
this is the same car thats locked in a driver and passenger. they only managed to get out when someone from outside opened the door
Windows so small bc it allows better reinforced doors - and this give a another level of safety on side crahes. Expect it on all volvo cares.
the 1st car with the zero gravity seat is the hyundai ioniq 5. bad preparation or intention?
Did I say this is the first car with sero gravity seats? I was talking about the folded up rear seats.
Those prices are not those as in the EU and especially in different countries in the EU. China prices often doubles when sold in the EU.
import tax + VAT + profit for the importer + dealer profit = $$$
The interior is really a hatchback not SUV. In the back you can't put your feet under front seat.

Here's the important question, how hard is it to remove all of its phone home "features" and ability of vinnie pooh to drive you off a cliff?
